How cruel of a human to take that wild animal out of its natural habitat domesticate it. Then dump it when it’s not cute & cuddly anymore to a world he knows nothing about. He’s scared to death of his own species. Disgusting. It’s unfortunate that those third world countries don’t have laws against the abuse or owning of wild animals.
Unfortunately it’s common. Those channels with the baby monkeys getting starved, bathed and dressed in doll clothes? There’s so many! And when they die of neglect- guess what? Another one show’s up. Repeat.
Or if they do live long enough, once the monkey gets bigger and hard to handle, it’s dumped. It’s so sad 😢
She's as scared of the wild monkeys as a little kid would be. This is why you don't keep wild animals as pets. Especially monkeys. It's crazy how she just shuts down and goes to sleep when she's around them.

If i'm wrong correct me please, but till now i've only seen they've been filming by NAVY TUBE! And NAVY TUBE is also KONTHEA'S HUSBAND! And wasnt' it KONTHEA who played the MAIN PART in some of SOVANNA'S video's? And mr Lin is a bit too willingly to go to the park everyday and exposes himself for NAVY TUBE! This wildlife is not that DAM TIMID,FRAGILE, SENSITIVE or AFRAID just MUCKING SPOIL/LAZY/DEPENDENT and this HUMAN truly has no INTENTION and/or DESIRE to release this monkey at all.

You are right Mr. Mike... we humans like to socialize with sitting around and eating...but with the monkey world not so much...especially if u are an "outsider" , in her case, automatically lower ranked...recipe for disaster...I wouldn't even know what to suggest...to be honest, she would need to be introduced by people who have experience in this field..

Tereza is beautiful. I love her eye pattern and coloring. This is the first video I've seen of an abandoned monkey, Sovana, prefer its humans, but it makes sense to me. Comfort, security, good food, etc.

This wee one is his, he just loans them to us to enjoy their beauty in nature, not to damage and make money off of!!! Sweet Sovana is now their money maker and they DO NOT care about her well being nor do they really want to release her. Everyone loves Sovana and they know we do so they take advantage of that. I feel so bad for the little baby!!!😔
I'm with you on that is it's harder and harder on her and she has to be stressed out which isn't good on her , one minute she's sitting in someone's lap eating being hand fed and the next she wakes up by herself and no one around , ( dirty little trick) she doesnt know she's a monkey , she thinks she's human , think it would be better to release to a sanctuary that is used to do and stuff like this to get her used to being in the wild cuz I don't think this is going to work here
Stacy Brickford Yes you’re exactly right. That is such an evil thing to do and just leaving her by herself like that must have terrified her so much. The previous owners probably killed her mom just to have her as a pet which is why I don’t believe in having a pet monkey. This is all for views and money and in another video I commented that I wished the WLA would take her since they know what they are doing. They know how to integrate orphan monkeys back into the wild. Right now Sovana is going to continue to be traumatized and possibly killed eventually. It’s so hard to watch!!

She loves her dad too much and wants to stay with him. He is going to have to loose the blanket and his clothing he uses for her to sit on or she is never going to leave her comfort zone. She must sit on the ground with the other monkeys not with the scent of what makes her feel she is not like them. The blanket and the clothing belong to Lin and his smell will also be on them so she will not leave what she loves the most in her world.

She probably doesn’t even like the grass which is completely abnormal
I disagree. I think they clearly feel and show emotion in their faces and in their body language. It may not be at the sophisticated level that humans feel emotion, but they definitely feel and show emotion. Their behavior bears it out.
She's a baby, maybe two-three months old. She seeks comfort and food. Her basic needs, like any infant. She is racked with anxiety and will seek anything with surrogate mummy's scent and warmth. protecting and feeding her in front of the other monkeys at this point is what any "mum" would do. But the blanket is the first thing that has to go. She needs to experience the world she will inevitably live in from the start.
You need to do your best to mimic the mother monkeys in raising her. You should know that, and anything less would be a crime against her. Ditch the blanket and treat her like your real monkey baby. That includes discipline and her knowing her place (to the bottom of the totem pole with you, my dear!).

Преступление это когда берут новорождённого макаша, делают ролики ,какие они заботливые кормят ,купают, а когда вырастет увезут в лес и привяжут к дереву, что бы он за ними не бежал или в коробке оставят и выживай как хочешь в лесу с дикими обезьянами, а этот постепенно приучает её к жизни в лесу с другими макашами, и у него получилось она привыкла и живёт теперь в стае, никто её не обижает.

Она чужая в стае. Связь потеряна. Эта малышка не адаптируется. Ее, конечно, уже нет в живых. Нужно думать, что будет потом, когда животное вырастет, прежде, чем приручать.
И стая приняла и не погибла, с ней все хорошо. Выросла и старается оберегать брошенных, берет под свою защиту.

The other babies want to play with her this is disheartening . Over this past year I was obsessed with getting a pigtail as a pet but now I believe animals are not to be owned. Not to be ripped from their moms. They rescued sed a bankrupt lab full of longtails in my state of New Jersey . They were ripped from their mothers placed in cages never ever saw daylight been outside to play they looked so pitiful and sad. I cried watching the report. A animal rescue org. Took them and drove them to Texas to a monkey sanctuary I can't wait for the follow up. They were released frightened bunched up together comforting each other as they were examined fresh food fresh air over 100 longtails free hopefully the will send them back to Asia for relocation back home.

Yes I also look at Sovana as a pet because of her interactions with humans. What woulda, coulda, shoulda been done is past tense. Mr Lin please keep her and take her to visit. She seems fine at the Pagoda with your neighbors while you work. If thats not possible she needs another home or WLA to take her in. She has to learn wild monkey habits to be a wild monkey. Sovana isn't wild. I would hate for her to be mistreated or killed. Thank you Mr Lin
There is such a double standard regarding monkeys. On the one hand, they're wild animals. But if they stay with humans too long, they're not wild. Make up your mind.

She is not making much progress. Only feed her when she interacts with the other monkeys and is not screaming. She will start realizing she only gets fed when she gets closer to them. But this one is the worst i have ever seen. Not even curious to try and play when they are playing in front of her. And uses her back legs to scratch like a dog.
The odds really aren't in his favor. But I hope.
I was going to say the same thing. Her mental condition is really squed. She doesn't think she is a monkey . Or I should say she doesn't know she is.She may have been "abandon" but she sought out people and found some that feed her and give her shelter outside. So she is a little monkey wild child. I don't think you will ever be able to integrate her into a troop.

Надо отгородить маленкое место и выпустить Совану с нескольками неогресивными обезьяночками на некоторое время потом отпустить их вместе на большое местность вот тогда Савана прывыкнет к дикой природе и к своим семьям.Но принудить таким образом где пугают издеваются и изнасилуют крошечку.Это не правильный подход сперва спасать жизнь в младенчестве а потом выпустить к озверевшем обезьян самцам.Я считаю это издевательство над животным.Мне плохо когда смотрю эту шоу.Это противно.

Stop drugging that baby before you overdose her. There's no way she's sleepy Everytime as anxious as she is. I know you feel it will be easier to leave her once she's sleep but so many monkeys were overdosed or poisoned by VOs doing that. Just take her there everyday she will warm up to them and maybe start playing but she got to come around or go to WLA cause if she keeps acting crazy and you leave her she may get killed. The monkeys trying to be receptive but looking at that confused lil rat like "What the hell wrong with you?"😂

@@hecticway she is still a tree rat with a tail although she is cute. There's nothing wrong with me calling a monkey a rat in my eyes cause it's still an animal. They both can climb trees,live in the wild,has tails and sleep in their own shit. So it shouldn't be as insulting as say...calling an able bodied hard working man with a job homeless. You don't know if he's homeless no more than I know if he's drugging her. Just cause he says homeless in the headline? These are Cambodians that use the wrong English words all the time. They call themselves poor when they really mean the monkeys. So don't correct me if you don't know these people personally. And if you do than you are just as guilty and responsible as they are for all the deaths of these creatures. You have monkey blood on your hands just like them and can't correct me about nothing. She will never be able to go back. She isn't interested in getting with the group. She has you there and although I understand why you want to be cautious with just dumping her, she will never accept the other monkeys. To her she is out in an outing with family. This is a human oriented being and you may need to give up the trying or keep making vids saying you are releasing her knowing this isn't your intention.this is being evil at all costs
