    which is also my perspective every morning when I hear l the purring, following by painful scratch from his sandpaper like tongue🤣

      🤣 This is where the video idea came from. Roy was sitting next to me on the bed the other day and I realized that it's a mouse's perspective too.

    10/10 would lay on the floor again. I try to do yoga and get all sorts of attention from my cats😂❤ probably checking to see if the soft can opener is still breathing

      Haha, I also get weird looks from them when I do yoga or other exercise. Then they usually proceed to lay on the middle of the yoga mat. 😂

    Now this was an interesting perspective including watching their throats as they swallow (their neck fur exaggerates the action) and the movements of their bifurcated upper lips. I don't know that I've ever paid much attention to that! I wish I knew what he was thinking from 1:36 to 1:48!

      @@RoyandMoss I swear that Roy is part engineer. Both Roy and Moss are deep thinkers, eternally curious and exceptional at figuring out puzzles. My Tortoiseshell cat once put her paw in my mouth while I was sleeping. My guess is that she was trying find that "mouse" making the horrible snoring sounds. Not exactly the best way to wake up! --- oh, and, no, I don't snore. Ever. I promise. Get that tape recorder away from me!! :D

    Not too different from how I wake up... my cat, sitting on my chest staring down at me into my closed eyes, waiting for me to wakeup and feed her. I guess I should be grateful she isn't screaming at me to wake me up or smacking me in the face while I sleep.. but even after years of her doing this, there is something very primal for that first 1 or 2 seconds of waking up and seeing an animal's face inches from yours staring into your very soul with great intensity.

    • @RoyandMoss
      @RoyandMoss  3 месяца назад +1

      She must be so cute ❤ I'm glad that Roy and Moss don't sit on my chest with their 8 kilos/18lbs. Roy lies next to me in a loaf position every morning. His face is 1 inch away from my face and as soon as open my eyes, he starts purring. This is the gentle method. If I don't react according to his expectations (giving him breakfast right away), he starts biting on my arms then he goes crazy and starts to make noises that impossible to ignore.

    I've seen a lot of clever uses of GoPro-type cameras; this is definitely one of them. 🙂 It's also pretty amusing to put your camera into wide-angle and take pictures an inch away from their face--or am I the only person that takes undignified pictures of their cat that way?

    • @RoyandMoss
      @RoyandMoss  3 месяца назад

      Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. 😊 Haha, I have lots of undignified pictures of them on my phone. I think the most embarrassing one is a picture of Roy's butt. He had some inflammation down there two years ago and the vet asked a picture of the problematic area 😂
