This engine of yours was the first one I saw on this model that reached higher speed, a good fit.

Thanks. It took a small amount of adjustment to the carburetor.

I’ve noticed the m12 revs much higher than the m16. Most likely because of the shorter stroke and the more efficient design. I will be buying one actually!

@@Farmtractor Yes, in general the M12 is faster, yes!
Do you think the piston stroke of the M12 is shorter than the M16?
What I know, the M12 has 2.6 cc and the M16 with 1.6 cc, as the carburetor of all engines is the same, the optimization in the 2.6 cc may be better.
From what I see in the videos, the M12 the crankshaft is more fragile, and perhaps the bearings too, as it is very common to see an M12 engine with the steering wheel turning crooked.
One day I want to have an M16 like yours and an M12, I also want to make all the adjustments to see if the engine looks good like mine.
Your engine I believe I can make it work much like mine, I'm in doubt if your fuel is better or worse than the gasoline I use.
What I can say, the gasoline I use is of very poor quality, has no lead in its composition and still has 25% alcohol mixed with gasoline, which is horrible for any carbureted engine.
Here in Brazil, there is no pure gasoline to sell, all are bad and mixed. That is why engines that were designed for Brazil, work well anywhere in the world.

@@ManualdoMotorStirling well I am actually selling my m16! I am going to buy 3 new engines. The bigger hit and miss engine, and the new throttle governed (4 stroke) “hit and miss”. Although it’s called the et8, it’s not a hit and miss. But made with the same materials and looks identical. And then a m12. My m16 is going to someone who had a motorcycle engine that looked like that. So it’s in good hands. I’m very exited to try out the larger engines!

@@ManualdoMotorStirling and I do know that the piston stroke is much shorter. I’ve seen a disassembly video. It has a larger bore, lower compression, and a smaller stroke. More efficient design in general!
