Great car and pretty nimble, I think if it was dryer she wouldn’t of been so slidy? I’m doing a dt02 atm a great kit and I was impressed it comes with bearings, metal drive cups and dog bones. Always good to see your dt videos to pick up tips 🙏😎
Wow Mikael - you did well to get that speed with those road conditions and the limited space available! I like how you said you needed to improve your ice-skating!! Definitely a little more to come with this setup in more favourable conditions. Great to see you enjoying the hobby in these cold and miserable days. Best regards to you, my friend! :)
Ha ha, yeah, a bit too fine balance between getting it up to speed but with slow acceleration and then controlling the fear of hitting someone else’s parked car 🙂 Too challenging for me this ice-skating, he he. But I did better with one-handed driving and no disturbing waffling on the other channel. Uhh, yeah. No point waiting at home for the sun when it refuses to show it’s face. Better have some cloudy, rainy, wet fun then. Best wishes to you, my good friend,
Yeah gremlins gone. It's a pity you didn't find out the root cause but at least it's OK now. Just a tiny typo in your description Mikael. Second paragraph you have put DT-01 Great stuff as always my friend, keep safe the end is in sight.
Hi Rob! And thank you very much for the catch! Corrected now. Ahh yeah, would love to have known what caused the issue. And a little curious to see if the issue will return. But now I know that I have to bring the program card with me for the runs, if it needs resetting again. So strange. Yeah, keep safe too, Rob.
Impressive driving and great ice skating bro!! I really want to run my cars but we already got hit with about 10 inches of snow... So it's the start of wrenching and build season in my area... :(
Hi Chris! Thank you ... at least I tried and at least the ESC behaved today ☺️ Uhh, 10 inches of snow! Can I move there? My boy would love it, even though it would mean that the small 1/10 buggies would have to wait inside. But wrenching and building sounds perfect too 🥰
Impressive top speed given the conditions Mikael! Definitely much better outcome than last time! I think I’d try just a 3s pack before changing out the motor as well. Well done my friend!👍😊
Thank you, Jeremy! Yeah, much better now that the ESC behaved well. Ahh, yeah, only 3S at first. Just to see if it is controllable and possible at all. Such a light little buggy. I doubt it. I would definitely need more space and better surface.
Hiya Mikael. Glad it's working now. You did well to get 37mph on that surface. So slippy this time of year. I remember you have a transmitter with a giro but you were having issues. I have one now and it seems to work pretty well. Would probably help your speed runs. I really need to test mine in a similar situation of a 2wd on a slippery car park to see how it does. Cheers for now matey :-)
Hiya Pete! Yeah, much more fun now when I don’t have to worry about the ESC. Then I can concentrate on the waffling and ice-skating. Ahh, yeah, got some Traxxas TSM but also a DumboRC with a gyro. Ahh, no real issues. It was just in reverse. And it didn’t do much good with the Super Levant as that one liftes it’s front wheels and the gyro have no effect. It would definitely be better on this one. But this one goes pretty straight, as long as I am gentle with the throttle in the beginning. Need more run way. But yeah, could be real fun testing the gyro on the winter surfaces. Would love to see a video from you with yours! Cheers, my good friend.
Hi Mattias. Yeah, much better now. And much more fun now when the gremlins in the ESC dissapeared. Apparently a resetting did the trick. Must remember the control card every time I go out with this one 🙂 .
Couple my friends got me some awanfi Nickel metal hydrides 2 them but I have nothing to charge them with I mean I have a chargers but I don't have adapters to the plugs that are on them and I really don't want to chop them into to put new ones on and I don't have those to begin with to put on their in the first place and they are 3600mah. And they sent me a really nice tripod so I'm hoping I get to use them all very soon.
Hi bro! My Hobbywing seems to work good. Both the brushed and the brushless. So far no issues with the 1060. But would love to try out the 1080 too. Thanks my mate.
you know that there is a one and a half turn brushless that's out there I'd like to see you get that just to see what it would do in a car Vikings would approve. Lol
Wow that's some good speed there man👌👍

Oh, and thanks for the mention - it really was gremlins in the ESC!! :O)

Yes! You where right! Gremlins! Wonder what they where doing in my ESC 🙂
@@nordichobbyvisions719 Hehe - the gremlins were up to mischief, of course! Probably tampering with the overload cutoff! :P

This is a gorgeous looking car especially in the black. Love it. After seeing your car, I'm so tempted to buy one. But just bought a Neo Fighter....
Hi! Love my Neo Fighter too. I think you are good. But yeah I know how tempting all these tamiyas can be 😊

Loving the ACCEPT beanie 🤘🏻
This looks better than when you last tried it.
Hi Nick. Yeah, runs smoothly now, well, at least as smooth as I was able to on those slippery leaves 😅
Well there we have some nice numbers on the GPS, definitely much better than last time.

Great colour on that Sand Viper. Made mine box art but I don't actually like it yellow🤔😬
Yeah, well, in my opinion the Viper looks good in all colors. I like the yellow too 🙂
This looks like a new place.
Been here a couple of times, but I think you are right, first time with a camera here I belief.
With a 4700Kv motor you need to run atleast a 120Amp ESC. ESC comes with 16T 2500Kv
are you really happy that the top Force evolution coming back out and do you like all the new 2021 models that are coming out in the first quarter?
I think for the Top Force fans it’s a real treat to get the evo option. I’m not quite there yet.

I have pretty mixed feelings about Hobbywing.. 1080 has been good so far but 1060.. meh. Nice vid :)

Ha ha, yeah, that would be insane. I better try the 3S or the 6T at first though, to see if this Viking can handle that 😅
@@nordichobbyvisions719 Vikings are supposed to be some of the hardiest guys around. Lol
Nevermind, you have the 19t pinion. I think you may be undergeared
No just the wrong battery
What is the pitch on the spur gear
The pinion is a 0.8 mod
Those leaves will do you in. Lol
Ha ha, yeah 😅
Very close to open grazing animals they could just walk to the parking lot if they wanted.
You went for a speed run in a mud and wet leaf covered parking lot? Alright then.
It was that or nothing 😉
But nice Tamiya
But the car is NOT MOVING so you steer away duhhh
Say what?
What a leafy mess. Lol
