What is better at turning quickly in a parking lot. 2wd drive Tamiya buggy or 4wd? Trying to pick out a car that will not consistently roll over in turns like my Traxxas line up of trucks. Going back to Tamiya.

Just changed my pinion to 22t and full ball bearing and went 23mph on a 2s lipo. Motor and esc temps were very manageable as well. Nothing getting too hot. Plasma edge with tq tune brushed motor. Now have a 3900kv brushless motor and running 33mph. Thats about as power as this chassis can manage without too much stress its plenty fast now.

How fast is it?

Oh I see, its from mostly new parts. I just did the same thing.

Where did you find a new rising storm kit?

I upgraded the steering, hubs, shock towers, and arms with aluminum parts on my Gravel Hound and it performs remarkable! Hadn't had one failure or bad experience yet!

Parts from the hot bodies d8 also fit and some from the sc1 flux as well. Also lots of standard 1/8 buggy parts as well.

Great car and pretty nimble, I think if it was dryer she wouldn’t of been so slidy? I’m doing a dt02 atm a great kit and I was impressed it comes with bearings, metal drive cups and dog bones. Always good to see your dt videos to pick up tips 🙏😎

Really useful video, thanks. I'm quite new to the rc hobby but I have a Gravel Hound DF-02 too. When you had it on the stand and you were testig the steering you mentioned a noise that it was making and that it would need some adjustment to save the servo. I've just replaced the steering rack and am getting that exact noise now too. Can you give me some pointers on how I would go about making the required adjustments? I'd be very grateful, thanks.

I have said this to Mark Bryan and I will share this with you… any buggy that reaches the target speed between 20-25 mph (33-40 km/h) is good.

I think this TD4 needs a massive amount of improvement Mikael. It has to be fast enough to be driven off a ramp at VERY HIGH SPEED so it will fly across Denmark, over the North Sea and all the way down to the south coast of England, straight into my RC collection. I'm waiting my friend 😁👍🏼

Nice as always to listen to, I actually watched the video 3 or 4 times, I had it on the phone while I was working, so I sort of caught a few bits here and there... Strange to make a XB then put on oil in the shocks.

Just watched your video! Love it. Never knew, that XB can come with CVAs but no oil. Good thinking about red orings. On my XSa DT-03, after I changed black orings to red, it was day and night difference in shock smoothness and sagging. Cheers from other side of Baltic sea!
