Great video, David! I started writing in a journal in high school. In the mid-80s, I started using paper planners in addition to the journals. I was a huge advocate for the Day Timer system. And like you, I've tried every kind of paper journals and planners. But after my box of journals was lost when I moved back to the US from Japan, and after I lost my Bullet Journal, I realized I needed to go digital. I'm new to Day One, but see a great deal of utility with that one, thanks to your video. Thank you!
This is the best "Day One Journal" review I've seen so far (out of the 5 I've watched)! I decided to get the app but wanted to find a review that did a deeper dive into the features! Lovin your channel brother!
Day One is by far the best journaling app out there. I've used it for over a decade now and it is just an amazing app. It's the one app I never hesitate to pay for and definitely the app I've used the longest. Having a journal on your phone is far more convenient than a physical journal.
Wow! I rarely miss writing in my journal, but sometimes I'll misplace it, and yes, sometimes I wonder if my pen will even decide to fail on me, or if I can even find a pen. Having this app sync with my iPad and phone and Macbook... perfect! After watching this video, I'm signing up for Day One. Everything you said spoke to me, and then when you said it connects with the watch too. OMG! Total deal-breaker right there! I gotta have it. Thanks for this awesome video David! Liking and subscribing too btw.
Thank you david god bless you your family and your friends you have a wonderful fantastic awesome bless safe beautiful day with your family and your friends god loves you and i love you enjoy the rest of your day 🙏😊❤
Really enjoyed the video. However, just having a list of the features without demonstrating how they are used limited the value I got from the video. For example, how do I automatically add steps from my Apple Watch that was mentioned?
Thank you for this video. Wow, I had to laugh out loud, 1:28, yes been there "doing that." For many years I used paper journals, enjoy writing with fountain pens. Having an Exceed journal book from Walmart, I feel the same way, it looks so good I do not want to ruin it, so it just sits there, D'oh. My big issue with paper, it was not alway accessible, whereas my phone is. After much consideration and analyzing my digital life, the calendar is my most used app, it is now my one-stop-shop for journaling.
I hear you. I still use a paper planner/journal, and scan my pages into DayOne. I love using DayOne as my primary journal simply because it allows us to capture multi media.
