Big shoutout to the backup singers at around 15:15 when they belt with Floor, creates an even bigger impact. I have watched all the episodes of Beste Zangers with Floor and the show's band and backup singers are top notch.
Lesley is fantastic. I just wish she'd been able to tour with Floor last year.

Absolutely. I have a few demons and her voice literally calms me. It's like a balm for my soul. No other singer has ever had that effect on me.
And let's not forget, this performance is from Floor recuperating from a recent surgical procedure. Unbelievable!

After the key change for the final chorus, she hits an E5 multiple times. It has such power behind it. It sounds like a full belt.
Floor is an empath; she feels the song deeply, and that helps her with that sweet spot you talked about. She is very genuine with her "acting the emotion" of whatever she's singing.
Yes she is a perfectionist, and we are privileged we can enjoy that.

I have to disagree with whoever on the stream commented that she didn't surpass the original because of the arrangement - she did, and the arrangement is fantastic. Marcel played to her strengths.

When Lorene performed this song in the ESC 2013 and won, it was a sensation. Nothing like it had ever been heard in the ESC. Recently someone took a poll on the best ESC song ever. Euphoria placed second, (after another Swedish classic, ABBA:s Waterloo 1974.) Lorene did a fantastic job.
Floor? She took the song to an entirely different, higher level. She is by far the most versatile female singer in the world. Whatever she sings turn into a celestial masterpiece.
You should listen to the original Euphoria with Loreen, she's amazing too in a different way

Ok, I think it's obvious to everyone that she's the One. Omg, she can literally do nothing at all, just be there, or throw a smile or a Floor glance, or do a hair flip or just enter a hall and people gonna drop dead happily
. And don't forget that there's no air blowing, it's the Floorce surrounding her.
I love watching reactions, especially from reactors that have so much knowledge in voice & training. & the smile you (& others) have when she starts gets ME smiling every damn time lol

One thing that I don't hear mentioned about Floor, is her body movement when she is singing. She is so expressive in the way she moves and the way her arms and hands and really her whole body goes into her performance. It adds so much in the way how I connect to her amazing voice.

I just came from another RUclips vocal coach where she said that dramatizing/acting helps you to brighten the voice. So there is something to that.
Idk if it’s just me, but there’s portion of this song where it feels like the microphone isn’t capable of capturing everything, all the nuance and subtlety, about her performance, and that if we were in the same room we’d be even more blown away with her performance.

she had gallbladder surgery to remove 15 gallstones and probably her gallbladder.
she had an operation on her stomach ! .
well I myself had that operation that is not easy I can tell you

She makes/allows you to "feel" every word she sings. Okay, maybe she forces you to "feel". Love it. She deserves all of the recognition she gets, a master in her element. There is no other, just Floor.

Because of eurovision, you should react to nightwish sleep walker. People in finland wanted them to be our entry, but finnish jury didnt like it. This was back in 2000.

I watch a lot of reactions from different bands, singers, genres....you just called it...the floor janseneffect...she draws you in, you see the reactor relax the facemussels and often the body and during the song you see them respond to het voice, gestures, smiles, growls.....after spoiling this for you lot you will never look at any reaction and observing the reactors fysic reaction...:)
And tomorrow is Eurovision, good timing hahahahaha.

I really don't understand this adversarial stance against reactors that the entertainment industry and You Tube have. Common sense would dictate a mutually beneficial approach in which the reactor share in the revenue that any particular video generates. In essence a reactor uses someone else's work to get views on their own channel, that's true enough. But a good reactor doesn't alter that work in any adverse way. Instead he (or she) enhances the original piece of work by adding different kinds of value to them.
One added value is that people that would not seek out a particular artists work by them selves because of one reason or another, suddenly may be interested in that artist, purely because they have been exposed to him (or her) by watching a reactor that they like and respect. That kind of exposure must be very valuable for the artist and the record label, and they didn't have to spend any money to get it.
Kind of like a company that makes aftermarket parts for cars. Some car models in their original form does not garner much interest among a certain demographic. But they can suddenly get noticed and coveted by that very demographic when they are modified with after market components, made by companies not affiliated with the original maker. That then creates a mutually beneficial situation wherein the car manufacturer adds a new client base and sell more cars, not thru their own efforts, but by the efforts of an outside company. The after market parts producer in turn gets access to all the different markets where that car manufacturer sells their products. And finally, the buyers of these enhanced products all around the world now get to drive the type of cars they find matches their driving style and taste, everyone wins.
I have myself found several new artists that I would have never sought out on my own simply by watching different reaction channels, most recently the artist NF. I never used to listen to rap, the genre seemed to be filled with a bunch of braggarts and misogynists with BIG attitudes and stupid lyrics as far as I was concerned. But one day a few months ago I was exposed to NF thru a reactor that I like. And in this artist I found quality's and a attitude that I found very appealing (and the music is banging too, as the younger generation puts it...). So now I'm subscribed to a RAP channel. (I can hardly believe it myself) The ONLY reason I have subscribed to NF:s official channel is because of that reactor. So shouldn't he also be able to profit a little in this situation? Why is that not the standard on You Tube? I don't understand.
Other added values that reaction channels can provide an artist is increased appreciation for their singing ability thru the analysis by voice coaches or other artists. Reaction channels further more help keep the fans of various artists exited about them between record drops because they like watching different people react to their favorite artist. Finally I want to mention the comment section on these reaction channels which provide a space for the fans (new and old) to mingle and discuss and share information about the artist. This also helps the artist to get new fans and to keep the old ones by no effort of their own or by their record label. 👍

I agree with you but from artists point of you it is their work so should get a higher percentage. Also, most artists do not sell a lot of albums anymore because of sharing platforms. Only make big money if good with tours and merchandise. Taylor swift sells a lot but few others. If was 90s many groups would sell millions of albums but no longer so have to get revenue from You tube or streaming platforms.
@@jerrybk1 Indeed--it used to be that tours happened to promote album sales. Now the albums only serve to drive concert attendance. Crazy world....
And yes, the artist deserves a higher percentage of the revenue--but not necessarily _all_ of it.

She's amazing,! And she is a much better singer than the original singer Lorene. But still, Lorene's version is a package, with song and dance. It's supposed to be an organic mix between the two. A great cover whit one of the best singer in the world
