- Everyone asked for more doodle drawing, so here you go! In this doodle drawing video, we'll look at starting with lines and circles and creating an eye catching doodle drawing with a watercolor background.
You'll learn a handful of new doodle patterns, how to create an easy watercolor background and how to start your drawing with something other than a scribble.

✏️ Supplies Needed ✏️
I have only provided specific links for the things that can't be found at any art/craft supply store, and I do not get commission on anything I recommend - these are just the supplies I love.
Paper: Whatever is appropriate for the pens you are using to draw or the medium you will use to color. I like to use watercolor paper because I often color my drawings with watercolor, but whatever paper you have will work. If you are using watercolor paper, use 140 lb. paper with very little texture to make the drawing part easier.
Black Pens: If you are going to watercolor, use something waterproof. If you aren't using watercolor, Sharpies are good, but any marker or pen will do. You can even use pencil if you want! My favorite pens are the ballpoint gel ink pens Uniball Eye Fine and Uniball Micro Deluxe. The Eye Fine is about a .5mm tip and the Micro Deluxe is a little smaller at about a .3mm tip.
White Pens: Posca White Paint Pen PC-1M bullet tip .7mm
Circle Maker: www.amazon.com...
Extra: snacks are always good (hahahaha!), and a kleenex or paper towel to put under your hand while you draw to prevent dragging your hand through wet ink (like I do all the time!)

I adore your channel Donna- its cool, I love funky, whacky, whimsical, random, fun, colourful art, I love watercolour and doodling. Well, as I said I would, I watched your video and draw along. By the time I am writing, I haven’t finished it yet. I still need my embellishments 😊. But I think I will post it tomorrow and I will tag you.
I loved it all. My Sunday afternoon was for my doodling and I feel calm, relaxed and quite satisfied with the result.
This is a great way to take some time to ourselves and just relax.

I do like this so very much that I made 2! The first was larger and I cut it up to make covers for some gift “zines” am making. The random effect for those is quite nice. Afterward, I made a second one for my art journal. I love your style so much - the art, your gentle guidance as you present the project, and your voice is very calming and relaxing. Thank you, Dawn.

I often do that with drawings I'm not completely happy with - cut out the parts I like and use them for card fronts or something like you did. Gives them a whole different look, right?
