Since you factored in secondary prices in your score, please apply the same thinking to every BT product. As their Secondary prices are minimum of 4 times more egregious than any HH product. Current secondary Weller SiB (6-8years old) $900 Weller CYPB $900 Weller 12 $250-300 Weller FP $300-350 (depending on pick) And let's not mention Old Rips and Pappy's.
I am holding 2021 OF8 as my upcoming daughter's birthday bottle.... so I have high hopes... please do a scoring for that too (if that's a dud too, lol, I am holding 2020 ETL instead). You guys' scoring system and explanation is my go to source for my unopened bottles because the bottles I have opened and reviewed is pretty on point with my thoughts. FOR SCIENCE!
It's so sad that most of these are flops, in my experience the only one that's been great was the 15yr. I could've gotten the 16yr while I was in KY, however at $230 I couldn't help but think of Rebel 10 at $60. I've got bottles of that up to to 14yrs old and they range from quite good to fantastic.
Thanks guys! I usually like a real cork, but synthetic would let you reuse it as a decanter after better. Corks deteriorate, even in expensive bottles. Y’all need a stormtrooper bottle stopper!
Definitely a decent whiskey in a gorgeous bottle. We’ve got one as well as it only comes out for guests to try. The disappointment of wanting more was palpable. Great video guys!
Guys, good review. I thought I was the odd-man out with this bottle. Paid 160 and it's very good but should be priced more like 80 to 100. Picked up the 2021 Spring 8 year for 85 but haven't cracked yet. Cheers!!
I bought a 16 year from Heaven Hill for $250 last year. It isn't horrible but I mainly drink it so I can eventually re-use the bottle as a decanter. Definitely would not buy another.
Check out : "Royal Salute - Hundred Cask select"...it's similar velvet mouthfeel to King George V.... around the same price... although, it's more like a good Port👍🏻...also , Chivas Regal 25....and Glenfarclas 30... would be great for a review on the channel...($700)..but 5 star review 👍🏻.... cheers,..
Have you guys ever tried Clyde May’s Straight Bourbon? I HIGHLY recommend it. I’m not a huge fan of their Rye or their Alabama Style Whiskey (or anything else the company makes to be honest) but the bourbon is a winner. For a 5 year old whiskey it’s surprisingly full, rich and sweet. It’s around $40 a bottle and worth every penny.
Damn it. I held this bottle for my upcoming daughter's birth. I could've held a better bottle... sigh. I suppose i will bundle this with a small kicker for GTS instead
Wow - appreciate the offer! We are taking a hard line on our reviews though - only bottles we can find and purchase ourselves. Helps us be more honest with the value category among other things. REALLY appreciate the offer though! Cheers!

I passed on Weller FP @ $300 yesterday. Just couldn't when I paid $200 each for 2020 GTS and THH Rye.

Finally found you guys. Loved the Guild, knew you were on the ether somewhere.

Here to see if there's any actual chance of my getting this...
And what the Savant Jules thinks about it!
Definitely don't need hundreds of dollars of Frunk in my life right now. Thanks, guys!

Do you guys want samples of the newly released ehtbp batch 10? So you can put out a review before everyone else?
