@@DiGiornos they signed to Rise Records and put Dave in as co-frontman. Mostly Rise Records having creative control of their music, though. They should've signed to Epitaph. 🤷♂️
@@DiGiornos I remember buying the physical copy of this EP and blasting it for months straight, but then they signed to Rise, and I slowly fell away from them. Maybe it was creative differences within the band, but my bet is Rise restricted their creative control over their own music.
Me too, that's why I still have the original version of their EP and the original version of The Fallout than the re-issue one, 7 tracks of them are lower tuned and that's why I didn't put the re-issue in my phone.
Music is subjective, but how could you prefer the dull generic value of Dave's screams over the emotion and heart put into Andy's? His screams sounded a bit raw in the original EP but there was something about them that really moved me. Whereas Dave's just kinda sounded like every other generic front man frys. To each their own of course, I'm just surprised to see someone prefer Dave's screams over Andy's. Of course I got into CTE when they only had 2 songs and a cover out so I'm definitely biased toward Andy. 😂
@XxAlphaKennyOnexX Pretty much! The Verses are the devil explaining to Johnny what his terms are, Johnny is granted life and thanks him in the chorus, but then the Devil turns on him in the Bridge, takes his soul, and Johnny realizes nobody can truly escape death...
Chefs kiss 🤌🤌 I don't know if you guys will ever see this comment. But I always loved this version much more than the redo. Anytime I think of this song. Or sing it myself. It's this verion, y'all had it perfect the first time ❤
I think the screaming makes it better tbh. It gives the song variety to it. Like it goes from beautiful to intensely beautiful. I absolutely love this song
This is the first time I've heard this version. The one I've always heard is the one from the re-issue. This one sounds strange to me. But, they are both amazing. (:
Shawn Gabriel Delleva There are other songs in the Limitless EP that connect to, or have the same lyrics as the songs in Rise of the Runaways. There are also many lyrical similarities between the Fallout and Rise of the Runaways. For Example, in Call to Arms (Act i) it says "This is the new Fallout" when it basically describes the story-line of the album.
Johnny Ringo: Johnny sells his soul to the devil to save his life, things seem great at first but then the devil takes what he's owed (Johnny's soul). Johnny's Revenge: in the beginning Johnny's killed by the devil's minions, and he goes after the devil to take back his soul and have his revenge, but the devil's too strong for Johnny to face alone, it ends with Johnny being put to sleep. Johnny's Rebellion: Johnny's dreaming of escaping hell, he feels all the things he longs to feel before being woken up, he knows he can't fight the devil alone, so he amasses an army of ten-thousand souls to take on the devil, in the end Johnny finds victory, but he now holds power over hell and all inside it, and he decides that he is the new overlord of hell and takes the devil's place. They're all (quite cleverly) connected, each makes mention of the other, it's a connected storyline and, being a series of songs, will quote lyrics from the previous parts. And he says, in the last chorus, "I CAN'T feel air inside my lungs again, I CAN'T rebuild my life OR start again, all because of you" so it kinda turns from the "I feel alive" to the "I'm dead, terrified, and angry" tone, when you think about it, the wording of these songs are very important, I never realized until just now how important important the wording is to the story.
They're all supposed to flow together. CTE have effectively, artistically, and ingeniously created their own universe that many of their own songs explore. I love it.
I feel this is about a man who did something that he regretted and lost everything, and found someone he loved that made him complete, but didn't feel he deserved it. Then she left him and he realized that what he had was all just pretending, and she wasn't the right one. He was then back where he started.
This is the original version from the limitless EP before Dave joined so the vocals are all Andy. The video for this song on RUclips is the second version with Dave screaming.
+Myles Prower THIS is the EXACT same version on the EP Limitless. THIS IS THE ORIGINAL. the re-release is the rerecorded version in a new tuning and with Dave on vocals.
These groups don't play just one genre, but more. Sleeping With Sirens are post-hardcore / rock. Crown The Empire are post-hardcore / electronic / with an ounce of pop punk. :)
and it's fine that people think so. You're allowed that. God could come down here any time if he wanted to, but he wants his people, his creations to have faith in him. That faith is rewarded, people just need to take the leap. The fact that he's saved my life and the lives of my family/friends multiple times is enough for me. My family practically grew up with constant guidance from him. Not only that take into account all the religious experiences people have had. Science doesn't explain that.
I wish they were still making music this powerful
That would be amazing
What happen to them?

See in another life
This is definitely better than the Reissue no doubt.
Absolutely.
It's the EP it's supposed to be
And they are only gonna do what they think is creative to them
So I respect what they are thinking of
let's be real
I like the tuning of this version way better. the only thing that's better in the reissue is Dave's screaming to me.

They should make all johnny songs a movie!!
That movie would be amazing
The name is Ghost Rider

Johnny Ringo = Johnny Blaze.
Love this song.
Am I the only one who prefers this version to Fallout's?
No :P
+Zetsu Boy I think every person in the world thinks this version is better than the Fallouts
+Phurio Zetsu I love david but i prefer the "limitless" songs without him
This one is better.
This is on the fallout. It’s on the Limitless reissue. Where Dave did all the screams.
love how "this is your time" turns out to be her "goodbye"
This band is just simply THE NEXT GEN!!!!
His voice is like the myth of the sirens. I could easily be lured with his voice.... *eyes glaze over*
love this song.
David didn't scream in this version. Andrew screams in their EP album
he has the voice of an angel and the scream of a demon.....i fucking love it
I think the screaming makes it better tbh. It gives the song variety to it. Like it goes from beautiful to intensely beautiful. I absolutely love this song
Yep. That's pretty much why I love this song...
Friend: "Dude you've got goosebumps everywhere, are you cold?"
Me: "No I'm just listening to Crown The Empire!"
how many of u guys got messaged by at least one of the band members and is glad that they did Thanks Austin for sending me the message
This is the first time I've heard this version. The one I've always heard is the one from the re-issue. This one sounds strange to me. But, they are both amazing. (:
Can you put the link of the version you listen too?? Coz im trying to look for a different version of this song
+Rizhel Yu just look up Johnny ringo.look for the newest one (problably a year old) where as this one is 2+ years old
This is so well made, the lyrics are on point and i love the story behind it. Talent
i get to see them two days before my 18th birthday, which is also the day their new album comes out. fuck yes.
The end... I can feel air inside my lungs again... Johnny's Rebellion... Either really unoriginal or these two songs have a strong relation...
johnny ringo, johnny's revenge and johnny's rebellion are all connected. :)

Ohh thank you for that info. I love CTE for this reasons

Johnny's Revenge: in the beginning Johnny's killed by the devil's minions, and he goes after the devil to take back his soul and have his revenge, but the devil's too strong for Johnny to face alone, it ends with Johnny being put to sleep.

This song makes me think of blak butler, or at least the beginning
YES
I have only heard a few songs by this band , but so far this is my favorite.
I think I'll keep soul...we have a personal connection i don't want things to be awkward
Listened to this like 25 times today. Thank you guys for great music.
Did anybody. Notice the flamingos on part 4:02
There wasn't any o-o I think those where shoes..
Are u sure I thought it was right above the crossed out word
I see what you're talking about, haha. Right next to the 'and', right?
It's not a flamingo, not to burst your bubble. It's one of the little carrot things '^' with the word 'or' right above it.
This is amazing even on the first listen. I wonder how good this will get.
STOP SHOUTIN AT ME BRO?!?!?!?!?1?!?!?!?
Pray to God you don't lose your soul like they did. No hope for those men. Rip
All that's left is for them to finally get signed.
the meaning of this song is real deep
Question: What does "EP Version" mean?
This is the original version from the limitless EP before Dave joined so the vocals are all Andy. The video for this song on RUclips is the second version with Dave screaming.
It means at a point of the song is soft and low then gets louder once it extends to the song goes I guess?
EP stands for "Extended Play"
Oshikuru Demon Experimental Play, atleast for me
@@rubydoomy no it means Extended Play. Experimental Play makes no sense honestly

+Myles Prower THIS is the EXACT same version on the EP Limitless. THIS IS THE ORIGINAL. the re-release is the rerecorded version in a new tuning and with Dave on vocals.
+IM ALL WEED it really isn't the original.. because it's a re release, and its edited to sound better. I'm saying this version sounds better
