@@jamesborek8125 The LSX blocks might hold that much - the DART blocks certainly will - the problem is they would have to replace head gaskets every pass. Their clamping force is horrible. You can drill for bigger studs but that only helps so much. Billet block is their only choice.
The real kicker is no LS heads flow what Coyote heads flow - and at the end of the day suck, bang, blow - flow is 2/3's of the equation.

  • @windward2818

The turbo lag is massive, like three or more seconds. The transmission will be geared around max torque which is around 8000 RPM. This engine will not run at 10,000 RPM as given in the title, which is not really a problem because max torque is achieved through boosting and not tuning runners. The rev limit will probably be set to around 8800 RPM max and maybe as low as 8500 RPM at the track.
With over 3 bar boost, copper gaskets are a given.
The big question is how the engine is cooled? The front heat exchanger is the intercooler. The amount of coolant and oil cooling will be massive for this engine so where is it? In the trunk? There could be a small radiator behind the intercooler but this is just for a close engine reservoir. Probably includes a small integrated thermostatically controlled oil cooler.

NA is not what it was built for, It’s 10:1 with some beefy rods and pistons (heavier) so probably wouldn’t see much out of it NA compared to a max effort NA voodoo or gen3. But then again who knows lol

Rods, pistons, camshafts, sleeves. Nothing on the outside of the motor is sick of course, but I'd say that's pretty minimal for the amount of power it's pushing.

Sometimes horsepower made at high RPM is less stressful on an engine than the Chevy method which is usually capped around 7K and just pushing as much force below that as possible. Same reason why small engines on motorcycles with only 1L displacement can make north of 750 horsepower with force induction. The amount of combustion processes per second, even if smaller explosions, really can move you down track quickly without causing stupid stresses on parts.
