It's pretty warm, probably best for temperatures in the 30s F/single digits C. It's slim though, so it can't be layered heavily. Simon wears it in London, which isn't super cold, so I don't think it gets uncomfortable outdoors
You need to invest in a proper setup if you intend to make videos on such expensive products. That aside, beautiful coat. Im getting a similar one made in a 27 oz duffle.
I was about to say this. I got an old 100% wool one and had it tailored when I was in China. They even have the same fabric (850gsm wool melton) and had a Ww1 mackinaw Jeep coat made. Its basically a shawl collar pea coat. Only cost me $200 for the short one and $250 for a knee length one with a sheepskin collar. China is the shit. I'm so sick of the chauvinism people exhibit when talking about clothes.
Well, professors gotta profess! lol. Well you have a lot of opportunity to see the coat in the 15+ minutes of this video. Or there is a shorter one I also uploaded that is around 3 minutes.
@@gentlemenscholarsclub one thing I like of this channel is the abundance of images. The info is so good, you can't really find it elsewhere. I think some people would be better just visiting Instagram if they just want to see the clothing and not learning about it.
Love the review if you can clean up the sound a bit it would be awesome, thanks keep them coming.
This videos are so good but goodness the sound is challenging. Love the intro in the woods. Amazing coat, totally out of my budget.
Great review keep them coming
Alas out of my price point but from your description it is easy to see why the price is what it is
A very useful video. I was trying to decide what size to get and this really helped .
Great to hear!
Great coat. Great quality with the provenance to match.
Your wearing a polo or roll neck top not a turtle neck my friend.
Keep up the good work.
How heavy/warm is the coat? With layers, I am concerned it could be uncomfortably hot. Very informative review!

Welcome
This coat would have looked even better if the skirt was sitting just over the knee, but I get why they didn't.

I got my coat for about 40 from an army navy surplus store, plus about 50 more for tailoring. a grand for this coat is ridiculous.

That wasn’t very nice of you to say.
