Tony Soprano knew how to wear a Polo. I like the Polos with the ribbed hem. Great advice! Thanks

Suitsupply has nice polo's, with or without buttons. And with a hem at the bottom.

Regarding tucked and untucked, I prefer to wear my polos untucked. There’s another influencer out there that recommends partially tucking the front of the polo. I’ve tried doing that in the past but always end up just untucking it.

Go for filo di Scozia polos (and Italian made) for Italian tailoring?

I was actually looking at Filo di Scozia while preparing to talk about polo shirts. It is also a cotton but high-quality Egyptian (usually), so soft and comfortable. However, I find that the mercerization treatment it gets gives it a shine that I don't really like. I prefer more of a flat/matte finish on my polos.

What do you think about Canali polo shirts?

How about wearing a neckerchief with a polo shirt a la Ralph Lauren?

That sounds like a great idea, Guillermo. Too bold for my personal style, but it would definitely raise the standards on wearing a polo.

You could use a better mic and smile a bit more. If you’re a bit more excited, the videos will be more engaging.
Just my opinion, don’t take it the wrong way 🙂

I'm a middle-aged academic with an Asian upbringing--probably not going to smile and show excitement about many things. As far as the mic, I think it has gotten better--it's a Deity mic boomed about 3 feet from my face. I'm continuing to tinker with it to look for enhancements. Probably need to run the sound through EQ and a compressor, etc.

unfortunately i don't think sunspel quality is that great. the color fades soo quickly unfortunately. and their riviera fabric are too lose, to wrinkly, looks so sloppy in real life after multiple washes

I haven't tried them, but they just came to mind as a brand for polos. I'm not a fan of the Riviera because of the pocket, though some like it (and the James Bond aspect helps sell it). Perhaps Colhay's would be a better brand to name there.
