I'm suddenly reminded that back when StarCraft I was announced, I was really hoping they'd take advantage of the setting to do 3D movement and other things space should allow.
I adored Starcraft 2 for like 2 and a half years, played the multiplayer so many times. But man, this expansion just doesn't re-ignite that old interest. I even played Protoss in the multiplayer, and this does nothing for me. Blizzard needs to fire their writers ASAP and bring in half way competent ones.
I Liked it for Jeff's prog rock album cover diagnosis. Somewhere, Roger Dean is wishing Blizzard had asked him to work on this, like Homeworld 1 had a Yes song in it.
Welp. I "like" how they play the cinematic spoiling the main early-story plot twist to anyone who haven't played it yet...just long enough for the spoil, and cutting it just after it "Well, we don't need the cut-scene". GGWP.
about the ladder "i dont know if i would recommend it at this point" makes no sense to me, as someone who watched sc2 pro scene since WOL, this moment, lotv, is the best sc2 has ever been as a multiplayer game, both to play and to watch, and even in terms of balance if he means that its too late, if he thinks that all people on the ladder will crush new players, its not true at all, most people are low league people who dont even know build orders, and if you arent into multiplayer 1v1, there are the excelent coop mission with their own matchmaking for people who want sc2 but are too tired to focus on the 1v1 ladder honestly i am like the opposite of these guys, I am very much into sc2, but for the gameplay and watching pro level games, LOTV campaign is cool but I was never into the single player story or lore, it's probably because I experienced warcraft 3 story before being exposed to sc2
Man, do I love the original Starcraft but this is cringeworthy. It's so bad I'm fairly sure i lost some of my soul just by waching it. Jeff made me go through the whole video tho, so thanks Jeff
Jeff was hilarious in this one. "My life for these Keystones"
