Los que conocemos desde hace años a Lara y todo su excelente talento nos sorprende que recién la conozcan y que no hayan sabido de sus hermosas canciones e interpretaciones, pero al mismo tiempo me da mucho gusto que al fin la gente esté volviendo a escuchar y apreciar música de calidad como hace 20 años para atrás se hacía, como la de esta cantante extraordinaria que sigue muy vigente, ya que los gustos musicales actuales de la mayoría de la gente de latinoamérica lamentablemente dista mucho de la calidad, como el regueton por ejemplo que es terrible y que espero desaparezca pronto. Así que es una alegría de que esta parte del mundo pueda cambiar para bien musicalmente hablando al escuchar y apreciar lo que es realmente música de calidad como la de Lara . Adagio es espectacular tanto en su versión en inglés como en italiano, pero Lara tiene también muchas hermosas canciones que te dejan paralizada y te llegan al alma, como Je t'aime, Je suis malade, To love again, Carusso, You're not from here, Quédate, entre otras, las recomiendo.

Sin lugar no únicamente es una cantante ya que, por lo que sé, compone también. Con el paso de los años, ha controlado, mucho mejor ese instrumento llamada voz. Además es de las, muy, pero muy pocas, que habla y canta en 7 ó 8 idiomas.

La melodía se conoce como Adagio de Albinoni pero en realidad es de Remo Giazotto quien la publicó en 1945, justo al acabar la II Guerra Mundial. Tiene una frase musical que proviene de Antonio Vivaldi (s. XVIII) y no se ha encontrado nada en las partituras de Tomaso Albinoni del s. XVIII también. Lara Fabian escribió el poema que ha convertido en canción el adagio para cuerda y órgano. Je suis malade es otra canción que deslumbra en la voz de Lara Fabian.

Constructive criticism - you are good...but when you're watching a live performance you have to really watch it without closing your eyes and focus on the performance to get the full affect...you just might miss a big part of it.
