Owl Man isn't too pleased with the officials yet got a penalty today that was over 10/20 phases of play before it was called back for it. While Howard Webb said earlier this season after Diaz disallowed goal against Spurs, officials can't go back on decisions while the game already moved on.
@@EA..... dude it was 5 mins later, that phase had gone
Look how many phases they went back to disallow Liverpool's equaliser against Toulouse. That was similar. But it didn't directly lead to the goal. This one was a peno. And because the ball had not gone out of play, the ref could bring it back.
@@Owinksi_ That's the point.
Stopping a counter attack with a cynical foul is a yellow card all day long
It wasn't cynical. He was going for the ball not the player. And where were all of Liverpool's yellow cards?
Well in mate. Sick of two cast iron bookings being given after spamming tactical fouls for the entire game. Deserved the two bookings.
Yeah, ayew is the master of tactical fouls, he could have had 4 yellows
As all the fans said to Liverpool after the spurs goal not given. “Stop crying and get on with it”
Totally agree. Deserved.
Couldn’t agree more mate, Ayew was doing his best to spoil the game at every opportunity. How the BT COMMS couldn’t see his second one blatantly stopped a decent counter is beyond me.
Man there's a lot of dense, biased Liverpool fans in this comments section.
Ayew knew what he was doing, CP were going to stop any counter attacks in the last 20 minutes, that was their plan, glad that ref had a spine to send his off.
I often forget he was our manager... Or block it from my memory..... So sh!te he was at it.... Should've retired years ago!!?
Roy sounds like he’s finally ready to go into a happy, well-deserved retirement. Such a gentleman and legend.
Legend? Worst england manager ever...apart from southgate obviously. Was laughed out of Liverpool.
If your sick of it retire then, absolutely disgrace of a "Liverpool manager"and the worst.
Gentleman??? Say that again😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
So standing over the ball and time wasting is a booking and chopping someone down on the break is also a booking so where’s the issue?
Rivals are angry liverpool top never said anything when jota got sent off
Doesn’t fit rival fans agenda’s lol but we’ve walked away 3 points and plenty of tears 😂
If Palace fans think it was harsh then they can hold comfort that it balanced out minutes later when Ward should’ve got his second yellow for his tackle on Jones. Even though Salah scored he should’ve been sent off so balanced out. Football fans focus so much on decisions that go against them they ignore the stuff that goes their way
If, when a free kick is taken, an opponent is closer to the ball than the required distance, the kick is retaken unless the advantage can be applied; but if a player takes a free kick quickly and an opponent who is less than 9.15 m (10 yds) from the ball intercepts it, the referee allows play to continue.
cry 😂
Someone who has nothing to lose calling out refs. Love it
Jota was sent off against Spurs for two nothings yellows, just saying.
He got 1 for a player tripping himself up
@@jorian2212and another for the same player diving, while on a yellow card himself, and then sitting on the floor waving an imaginary card at the ref, which is also yellow card worthy. Couldn’t write it, and yet it happened and no one even thinks it’s worth mentioning.
Wtf has that got to do with Crystal Palace?
STOP!!!! Crying
Jota was rightly sent off!!!
Big respect to Roy for speaking his mind he deserves to be able to tell everyone as he said he’s a veteran been in this league many years
But when klopps speaks his mind he is moaning

He didn't. It was Artur Jorge.
Mad how people make up stuff in the comments section

@@seckie1001 Now this guy managing Inter IS mad!
@@seckie1001yep, getting rid of his starting left back because he wasn't defensively solid enough for Roy's flat back four. Luckily Roberto Carlos landed on his feet...
Problem is ref started with pathetic fouls and then stayed consistent.
Bingo! That's a big mistake for ref'ing and then they're mixed up later on.
Yep, he couldn't chance his ways so things just got silly.
Except when he didn't give the one against Endo and let play continue and the checked every possible angle on the screen to not have to overturn his original decision.
@@briangault5090 so true - he did not want to give the Endo foul
Consistent against Palace and nothing for Liverpool
And people say Klopp is salty 😂
To be fair at least Roy didn’t ask for a replay

Whats he on about? Ayew fully deserved both yellows, stopped a quick free kick and stopped a counter.
Never a yellow for the 2nd. LiVARpool paying refs once again

Roy is always so bitter when he loses to Liverpool because he didn’t think he was given a chance by Liverpool.
I fully agree
.....and he always lose!😂😂😂😂
hE BOUGHT pAUL kONCCHESKY. hE DIDN'T DESERVE A CHANVCCE AFTER THAT.
If only he hadn't been given a chance by Liverpool. He was beyond terrible.
as a liverpool fan i love roy, he wasnt given a chance with us, but we knew he was a gem, and still love him
He blocks a quick free kick and deserves a yellow card for that and then knowing he’s on a yellow card he fouls Elliott to get a deserved second I don’t see the problem with any of the yellows the referee is 100% correct to give them I’d be more irate with my player for fouling him knowing he’s on a yellow
Of course he does deserve a card. Roy even said that he stopped him taking the free kick - that is an immediate yellow card. It's not like it's a new rule.
The man literally sent his team out there to deliver cynical foul after cynical foul to disrupt any momentum Liverpool could build up and then complains about it when it backfires.
??????
Liverpool fan here. I believe the sending off was just, but I have to agree with him just because of moments like the Kovacic fouls vs Arsenal that were incredibly not enough for at least a double yellow. There’s a clear double-standard from the referees!
The ref didn't put any higher value to a second yellow compared to the first, which is highly appreciated from a footballing standpoint. I hate the whole "it's given as a foul anywhere else on the pitch, but because it's in the box, it's not worth a penalty" sort of bias against making big calls that will change the game.
More like inconsistency. Double-standards implies there's awareness of bias.
From another Liverpool fan, that second yellow never was a yellow, yes a foul but nothing else, imo
Another Liverpool fan. We were lucky today. The second yellow was harsh. I think we'd have grabbed a draw eventually but full credit to Elliot who was MOTM in only 15 minutes play. Which just shows how poor most of the team were.
The United game should be "interesting". :)

They can’t until 5:45pm due to the 3pm blackout rule
@@Kaijufied it was a twelve thirty ko tho?
@@lfc_dyl81075.45
He was fine with bringing the restarted game back a few mins for the penalty Palace got, funny that
this was a tough game for Palace but the real misery has been the last two "performances". The issue is how we lost against Luton - Anderson should be ashamed; and they didn't turn up against Bournmouth. Today was better from Palace but still a real obvious gap in class and unimaginative management
Ref was shocking premier league is fixed as we all know
Well said Roy, been in the along time and seeing the decline of it with the fans. This recording should be shown to the hierarchy and let them know that these over resulted rules are sucking the enjoyment out of the beautiful game.
Based. Absolutely spot on. Referees, rules and money are killing the game.
Just because Liverpool may have made more fouls, not every foul is actually a yellow card foul. Palace’s fouls were more tactical that Liverpool’s fouls that’s why they got 5 bookings and 1 sending off. Liverpool’s fouls weren’t as major as those
He subtly forgets that Palace got a bs penalty 😂
Cheer up Roy. 😘
I'm sick of millionaires moaning when I live week to week worrying about paying the bills, finding my ciggy money, my ale money, my money for a brass and my bet and lottery money

Roy will be rubbing his face like mad tonight!
Manager doesn’t think his player should have been sent off for two deserved yellows. Stop the press!
Calm down Roy.
How can he watch his team make tactical fouls every time Liverpool break and then act like they didn't deserve what happened to them 🤣
Someone wheel him back to the wards.
Woy isn't too happy
Roy correct on handballs and time wasting
One palace player made at least 5 fouls didnt get booked??????
Me encanta tu contenido, sigue subiendo más vídeos
Ayew deliberately stood in front of the free kick so it couldn’t be taken quickly.
Then he deliberately fouled the Liverpool player to disrupt the counter attack.
Stop moaning Roy it was your tactics that got him two well deserved yellows.
Ayew deserved that red mate. He was disruptive and belligerent all game. Was glad to see the back of him
What a fine Football Gentleman he is and always will be: Anyway, Im in a bad mood.
He clearly adresses the points wich do rightfully concern him, but he steps back and offers the interviewers the higher ground that they should not hold back out of courtesy, nor will he out of courtesy do the same. But he says that in one quick sentence that barely took 3 Seconds. What a fine Gentleman
It was a fair red card. One for blocking the free-kick and the other for a clear foul stopping a counter attack.
the fact that he said virgil purposefully kicked it into him hahahah your player can't stand on the ball for a free kick roy ya numpty
So he wants every decision to go in his favour, sounds like Hodgson. Im surprised he didnt ask for salah's goal to be ruled offside
2nd yellow was harsh but should have been booked for his pathetic dive earlier (wasnt the only culrpit either) so cry me a river
This is football !! we (Liverpool) have also bad referee days or bad Var days!!
I despise VAR and think the refereeing these days is appalling, but those were both stone wall yellow cards: deliberately delaying a free kick and then taking down Elliot when Liverpool were breaking.
oh boy. Roy is super pissed
Poor roy is gutted i do agree with him on where the game has gone, just finished watching arsenal game its consistantly about referee's and var with long spells of waiting around on decisions and players going for the dives at any contact knowing yellows and reds can be handed out like free gifts.
Haven’t seen Roy that angry in a long time
I wonder what roy thought of the 2 yellows tomiyasu got against palace?
The usual top six capitulation by Palace. City next, another hiding and propable Harlaand hat trick coming up. Bottom 4 by thr new year and relegated by end of February. Been coming for last 3 seasons.
This deserves The Simpsons “Old Man Yells at Cloud”
What happened to ball to hand - indirect free kick
Why have all ex Liverpool managers hate us so much 😂
Not all. Rafa is one of the good ones.
Because they jealous with klopp with how he managed to made livepool great, which show their incompetency, lol
Good honest interview about the state of the game from a man that deserves to be listened to. Football, like most areas of modern life, is being destroyed by pen pushing jellyfish!
He’s spot on. Standard of officiating is so poor in the premier league. Far too many cards handed out for next to nothing
One manager says one thing, the opposing manager says the opposite. Nothing changes.
The palace players were hitting the deck at every touch and the ref bought it. The cheating was blatant and the time wasting equally. VAR pulling a game back after 1.30 mins of play wtf. Stop the game if theres an issue. What would have happened if Liverpool had scored in that 1.30? A solid rearguard finally breached, mercy to football!
Like Roy says, football is no longer what is was when I was younger and pretty sick of it now - watching less and less every season.
I mean at 2.08 rio starts talking and he looks at crouchy lol
he shouldn't be salty. analysis after a game won't change the results. referees have been the problem this season in the epl, terrible decisions 😅
Rio new hair cut looks nice. His so hansome for a 50yr old
Roy of the rovers ,legend .great bloke .
The booking was deserved. He stopped a counter attack
Bitter old man. What about coaching your players to defend????
The player must understand the situation prior to second yellow and NOT put himself in that position. Roy your players discipline and situational intelligence is the issue. There are always harsh yellows, the second was not a sensible choice.
It is the rule so it's not an unfair advantage to Liverpool but it is a stupid law that needs removing. Let the refs assign appropriate punishments for pettiness like that.
Nice said roy,say it how it is..not many do that these days
I can’t believe this old man was once our manager. Good thing we got rid of him quick
Yeah Na as a fan I agree We're all sick of it Roy Ruins foorball. The pens and handball calls lately have been horrible.
Roy's hair looks gorgeous here
Roy Hodgson has already done more than enough for Palace and his wee stint at the Hornets.
To be perfectly honest he looks really hattered and like he could do with just jacking it all in and putting his feet up.
He's had an incredible career in the world of football management, he did retire in 2022 but then after the short spell at Vicarage Road with Watford decided to come back to Palace after he was asked to, nobody would begrudge him his retirement if he were to quit and I think that he should because he deserves to enjoy a bit of life before his health begins to deteriorate and age catches up with him.
There has already been a couple of names mentioned with regards becoming the next Palace manager, namely Graham Potter and Fulham's Marco Silva.
Tactical fouls should be dealt with severely
Not great manager skills saying it’s impossible for his team to succeed in their next fixture.
Well Roy's not a happy great grandad today 😳
So that's 1 var decision against LiVARpool and 1000+ var decision for LiVARpool. And Klopp is still crying about that ONE var decision that went against them.
Stopping a counter attack with an obvious clear foul is a yellow - and the first yellow was just pathetic standing over the ball - today your team lost the game itself
What he should be sick of is the fact that they conceded 2 and only scored 1 through a gift of a penalty. they spent the entire game in their half, created nothing, and were rightly punished.
The 2 yellow cards for Ayew were a bit harsh ..... But other than that, one goal was rightly disallowed as there was a foul on Endo in the build up. And then his team got a penalty which was very soft.
So idk that he should have that many reasons to cribb.
Also singling out VVD was really uncalled for, he was doing his job there.
Im sick of ref's not wanting to go back 20 seconds to correct a clear onside goal that had been ruled offside even with VAR's help but yet the same ref's are happy to go back 2 minutes to award a penalty that is debatable. Do one Roy.
Roy is mental.
Lovely man
Fergies old pal crying about Liverpool 😂 it doesn’t get any better
Just upload the game, Sky sports would of had it up by now!
Tactical fouls all day and stopping a break away. Surely he can have no complaints
The penalty was very soft and the 2nd yellow on Ayew was pretty clear. Nothing to complain about.
He's right though the games rules have changed so much and not all for the good. The referees aren't in control anymore, linesman can't even put up a flag for an obvious offside.
Worst Engerlund manager of all time.
The refs and VAR are fkn up the games! 😂
Crouchys legs are longer than the Roy's entire body
I knew ayew would get sent off. Roy should’ve seen it
No matter how bad the referee is judged to have been the *the CRYSTAL PALACE football club!* are always destined for failure, its in the DNA! 🙄
The red was bs tbf.
I agree with him on the handball interpretation. If the ball is lashed at a defender and it hits his hand, how is that any more of an offence than if it hits his knee first and then hits his hand? Unless the defender is making something akin to a star shape, such a handball should never be given as a penalty.
Elsewhere, today's sending off was fair. Don't stand right in front of an opposition freekick and don't foul when a breakaway is taking place. 2 clear bookable offences, off he goes!
Why has he been in the way in the first place
Arteta would be charged for speaking these truths, by the way I agree with Roy
Lost a bit of respect for Roy there im afraid. Slagging off VVD. Rules are rules.
Jota and jones should never of been set off in our only defeat of the season.
It is what it is as we were told 😅
Gotta love Roy
Two yellows is two yellows.
