Help me to understand what's the difference between an engineering degree from Chinese university or other universities in other countries and Kenyan universities that makes it impossible for kenyan engineers to build roads
Have you come across a road constructed by a local indigenous firm that is of acceptable quality.
It seems the local contractors have vowed not to construct good roads.

@@georgegeorge4767 I think the problem is not Kenya degrees or universities or civil engineering degrees. I think our problem is much smaller than we think. It's our laws, parliament. I think if we had laws and institutions that had teeth, our engineers are some of the best. They perform specular jobs when they cross our borders because those other countries have laws and we don't thanks to our non-existent parliament which unfortunately all our lead politicians come from.

But I do not appreciate his continuous reference to the past regime for all the problems of his ministry because even if you live in a house with your small family it will need repairs often. That is just basic maintenance needs for a building that is used by millions each year
