@@Stiitchjones it was definitely a price mistake, it was 1280 open box, and 7am that morning it was dropped to 549! I reserved it and when I checked out the guy said uhm... he got 800 dollars off msrp how? It's been phenomenal, and super quiet and cool. As a legion guy with intel and Nvidia combo beforehand, im perfectly happy with it. it scored 10700 on time spy which for sub 600! YES. They did honor my sale tho, and have 11 months warranty left, and Asus added 1 year ADP for free when I registered. The guy must of not liked the sandstorm color is my reckon.

The specs for this TuF laptop with R9-8945H and RTX 4070 is priced at 1.6k USD on my country (PH) via online shops and I bought 1 last week which was a huge upgrade from my old Asus RoG laptop that has GTX 1080. It's pretty much a mid-range budget gaming laptop at that price. The only thing I hate so far is that it only has 2 USB type A unlike my previous laptop which has 3, no issues performance wise though.
Asus RoG, HP Omen and Dell laptops are the ones that are priced at 2k USD here.

Also, consider checking what military grade actually means.
The standard is so very easily bypassed so basically your regular kitchen toaster can get the grade. Sad but true…
Don’t even get me started on how notoriously bad ASUS rumor is with its mosfets.
Before I’m branded as a hater, I’d still sooner pick up an ASUS laptop over an Mai, gigabyte, dell and hp. Picking the lesser expensive evil is for each of us to decide.
Can’t really take this vid seriously other than being excited over the new stuff that’s coming out.
