    Great insights. Does the Big River pose any flooding threats? Has it ever flooded?

      Surprisingly no. There are small pockets of flood zones but in my entire time living here I have only seen flooding near the downtown area and it was nothing too crazy.

      @@movingtoboiseid Follow-up question about rainfall. On rainy day, what's the typical amount? Also what would be a heavy rainfall amount in 1 day? I hear about these "Atmospheric" rainstorms coming in from the Pacific North-West. Thanks for the info about flooding threats (meant "Boise River")
