I just want to say THANK YOU! for providing quality content. It seems (almost) every ski reviewer is selling the ski, or pushing some product. Understandable, but I think most people want to know the good AND the "bad", regardless. Its not fun to spend a chunk of money on something that doesn't match all the research (if not able to demo). You talk about your background and how that influences your opinion regarding ski gear, definitely value added. I visit your channel first when I'm researching gear. (Not trying to pump you up, just appreciative, lol), Love your vids & your balanced perspective. Thanks again.

great review -- great exposition of exactly where the ski excels, what it does well and what it doesn't do.

Meir gives you draft beer at their shop in Denver! Good vibes!

The terrain at that resort is so interesting. You're blessed to have that place to play in with the snow conditions I usually see on video.

Thanks! It's definitely not Always like this, but compared to where I grew up in Vermont, I do feel very lucky

@@RicketySkiReviews Where I grew up (midwest small resort), any fresh fallen snow would have to be skied during the falling, otherwise they'd be out grinding it up under a groomer so that it was hard as pavement the next morning.

Fun facts : Meier sounds like meilleur in french meaning best and Téton in french means nipple... so yeah... nipples are the best 😅

What about a big mountain or freeride vs all mountain or powder category? It'd be interesting to hear more about stiffness, dampness, ability on variable off-piste conditions as well, as primarily off-piste skiing (especially out west) not just in powder is category in and of itself.

Yeah I was also wondering seeing that Meier lists the Teton as an all mountain ski... not a powder ski.

Good idea… rethink the Peak 104 average out Zach & your score 😊⛷️

I feel like if you revisit armada like the arv 106 it's wayyy stiffer than the 100. The 106 is more chargey and freestyle all mountain, whereas the 100 that you hate is buttery and soft, like really soft. I haven't tried them but youd probably like declivity, but the armada website says 106 is stiffer yet. Also, at this point for me all mountain is that 95-106 range, I'm east coast and I ski 105 pretty much every day and love it for the way I like skiing. 110 is when I start to consider them as powder skis
