  • Live from the World Chess Hall of Fame, the 10th Sinquefield Cup is the final of five legs of the Grand Chess Tour. Eight of the Tour players are joined by two wildcards (players below) for a classical round robin. Join GMs Peter Svidler & Yasser Seirawan, & IM Jovanka Houska for the move-by-move.

      Agree - there have been good analysts, but Peter has been a refreshing upgrade, he provides a lot of practicality, humor and theory. He is the best to date on the analysis board!

    Peter Svidler is like Lieutenant Worf in these old Star Trek movies.
    The strong, competent guy who is always standing. Never ever sitting in a chair. 😂😂

      With a board the players have to physically sit in front of each other. That adds a different level of psychological pressure. It's also just traditional and adds extra gravitas to the situation if they play over the board.

    So, Dominguez and Giri are the yawn masters. They should have invited Niemann for some exciting chess. Who wants to see endless classical draws anymore?

      I see, Dominguez and Giri are the yawn masters while Richard drew early to literally take a yawn. Also the Dominguez vs Caruana was a pretty well fought game no?

      why do people hate the draws so much? Would you rather see more wins at the cost of objectively good chess? If i want to see blunders and only decisive games ill go to the club...

      @ottoottoson5596 nah, apes like "fireworks" and clown fiestas too much. We just have the brain to realize that if we want excitement, we're better off watching physical sports or playing ourselves. And if we want clown fiestas,... well the internet and people's bad takes exist
