    This is such an interesting and enlightening video. Adalia, your viewers asked great questions. Kandis, you are an excellent spokesperson for this program. My poor Montessori teacher bones are getting a little tired of getting down to the floor to present lessons. Best!😊

    Hello ladies thank you for the vid! I was kinda bummed to learn that you have to have a degree or and be certified in order to become a teacher. But hope this vid can help others who have one or the other or both. God Bless❤

    You are correct. The chance of not experiencing classism or some type of cultural discrimination is dependent on the degree of internationalization in certain Mexican cities, which is not unlike many non-western or 3rd world countries... Great program ladies!!👍🏽

      No, most language schools prefer that English teachers not know the language of their students to force the students to communicate with the teacher in English.

    I transitioned into entrepreneurship after 34 years as a registered nurse educator for a psych hospital. I have a Bachelors degree in Family Life Education. Would I meet minimum requirements to do this? I don’t have a TEFOL

    • @AdaliaAborisade
      @AdaliaAborisade  3 года назад +4

      You have a degree, that will get you in the door with a lot of companies. Getting a TEFL/TESOL/CELTA will make you more competitive. Have you watched my video with Beverly of @MilesandCoffee? ruclips.net/video/UgI7kEFmRms/видео.html She was able to get a visa because of the organization she used to get her TEFL.

    • @AdaliaAborisade
      @AdaliaAborisade  3 года назад +1

      I taught mostly secondary social sciences and technology and didn't particularly enjoy teaching English. But that's probably because grammar isn't really my strong suit.

    What company is Latin Hire based in? I understand that I would be an American employee, but want to be sure that I what country the company is based as there could be tax consequences.

    • @AdaliaAborisade
      @AdaliaAborisade  3 года назад +1

      For some reason I think it is Colombia. But usually these kinds of companies employ you as a contractor not an "employee"

    I'm wondering how much the students have to pay, in order for the company to pay your salary and make money. Are the students are coming from wealthy families in order to afford this program?

    • @AdaliaAborisade
      @AdaliaAborisade  3 года назад

      Unsure but students would need access to a solid internet connection and a laptop so there's probably a good chance.

    • @AdaliaAborisade

      As I understand it you do not need a degree in education. Supplementing a university degree with a TEFL, TOEFL, or CELTA certification will go a long way in securing positions teaching English.
