Look I have some major problems with the movie as a Jamaican but as far as Ziggy is concerned, he's a SELL OUT! The One Love movie was projected through the lens of an American white producer, period! The whitewashing of Bob and what he stood for is good economics for capitalism! As for your take on it that is just a movie, to you. it may be just a movie. To Jamaicans Bob is a national treasure. He isn't somebody you just make up and put your spin on him. NO SIR. We know him, he lived amongst the people so don't fvck it up! I. hope you understand the Jamaican psyche, you are an American so you will probably not understand! But it's THEIR MONEY so I have no issues with how they decide to portray him but as far as Jamaica is concerned the MAJORITY of the country is BITTERLY DISAPPOINTED!

@ptseti I am a product of a Jamaican family. Raised in Jamaica every year for 4months. That being said I disagree that Ziggy sold out. Do you think Rita sold out too? She had as much say…thank you for your response by the way

@@writersblockentertainment100 Rita, poor Rita. She had as much say in this project as Haiti has determining its own government. C'mon man, Rita's voice is a nod to the real man in charge of the Marley empire- Ziggy Marley. Yes, Rita still holds the handle but sweet girl will not override her son's decision and in this movie, she certainly gave him all artistic direction. You may feel Ziggy had good intentions and I am sure he has but never watch what he says, rather watch what he does. Ziggy is in many ways the antithesis of his father. He may sport Rastafarian locks but he is proving he is no true asta like his dad. He has chosen a different road than his father marrying into an Israeli family, god bless him, but again his devotion, it seems, lies not in his father's quest for African unity and empowerment, rather it seems he is supporting the Zionists and recent reports are proving my sentiments. So yes on this issue we disagree. Ziggy for me is a major disappointment and a sell-out in many ways and his sporting his rasta locks does not make him a true follower of Jah Rastafari!

@@ptsetiI wanted to think about what you said before I respond. Brethren I believe many of us have children who move in a different direction. If Ziggy is moving in the direction of Netanyahu then fire bum dat but if he has an affinity for the humanity of Israelis then that’s his perogative and I don’t think that’s selling out.. in regards to the movie. I agree Rita gave Ziggy and Cedella creative freedom. But come on Lashara and Kingsley did a good job don’t you think? Finally to me this film is more than just about Bob. To me it is making more people aware of His Majesty.. I have people contacting me daily asking me who is this Haile Selassie and to know hundreds of thousands of people have a seed planted within their minds asking the same question or researching about the King of Kings is a positive result of this movie
