That's another of those places where rows of rusting rolling stock as the most prominent thing that can be seen don't really convey an impression of prosperity. I'm sure LSL have a lot more money, but compare it with the impression presented by them at Crewe
Certainly a lot of stuff there that's unlikely to see another day on the rails. Anyone know what's happening with 47640 and who now owns it, seems to have been there for sometime now. See they've parked 47270 down the side between relics. Hope thats not an omen! Would love to see inside but you'd have more chance of winning the lottery than every getting round that place!
That is 37255 and it is persevered but not much is going on with it as of now. The last time 37255 started up was in 2021 so it’s been a while since 37255 last started up.
Was this filmed recently? I thought the 107 centre car was undergoing work. Still appears to be sat among the other 107 power cars. Dunno what is happening to them. Shame to see all the other classic traction in that state. Hope they all have a brighter future :)
Another lovely video well done great camera work as usual I am really looking forward to seeing your next video I hope you get a nice video next time also when is your next video going to be on RUclips bye for now Philip
Can someone tell me what actually happens at these places. Does all this stock get broken up or refurbished or sold on into preservation. I live near Great Yarmouth and in the old carriage sidings is a very similar place where all sorts of locos and stock arrive in the dead of night. They seem to dismantle some but others get refurbished. A few items seem to leave by road.
Being on-foot will always be my preference for camera work. I do think drones do a great job at filming how massive the area is, but they're not for me to have in making my own videos, and if I wanted to feature drone footage in my videos, I'll ask permission to feature the footage (with credit) or hire an operator who is qualified to do it.
They will be WCR owned so they could do it unless west coast have them permission, they are most likely just storing them there unit the next tour or movement there needed.
Hi good evening, can anyone tell me about the class 20 there in the video!, who owns it or is it for purchase . Excellent video 📹 a reply is much appreciated many thanks IAN RANKIN 🫡 👍.
Its like a mini diesel version of Woodhams yard😊 makes you want to know whats in the shed there.🤔
Excellent video as always 👍

The 37 in civil link I believe is eurphoenix's 37 which is either spares or long term storage from what I've heard.

Good to see AC Cars 79976 is still there.
Is that even ever going to be rebuilt lol
@trainman86trainstramsandmore one can but hope that eventually it will be restored, having been saved from being scrapped at the GCR.

Nemesis indeed...........
Is my hero's loco 47 786 ROY CASTLE OBE still there?
Inside
Good video, what drone do you use
I don't, I use a camera

While they are there, please Nemesis rail can you repaint those locos in the horrendous West coast liveries into something decent?
They will be WCR owned so they could do it unless west coast have them permission, they are most likely just storing them there unit the next tour or movement there needed.
I don't mind that Livery can see why some hate it though
Travelled past this a few times and just always looks a mess with rotting locos. Why don't they just sell some on
some of the rolling stock isn't theirs, some are HNRC, west coast or small preservation groups
Does west coast railway own this site or these or are they just a contacter for west coast anyone know??
Nemesis rail is an entirely different company.
What a mess ?
Should be renamed as Burton junk yard!! Sponsored by Albert and Harold Steptoe?? Bet you're too young to remember them?😂
You dirty old man,
Yet another scrapyard sadly just like Yarmouth Carriage sidings although they have some mainline registered coaching stock.
🤣oh dear . . .
