So well done. Impressive. I live in Thailand and have been a witness to all of these complex situations. The presentation is accurate and comprehensive, it doesn't leave out nuanced and complex background stories. It explains chaotic political history of the past 20 years in 13 minutes and doesn't leave out a single important factor, except the relationship Thai people had with the previous king. I think the deep feeling many Thai people had for the previous king, who reigned for over 70 years, does complicate the matter a great deal. It's a kind of romanticized attachment for a fatherly figure most Thais had seen for a long long time. So it's a bit of a torn between old attachment and a new reality. Older generation cannot imagine the land without fatherly king, younger generation cannot imagine the present insanity. So here we are.

You hit the nail on the head there. The peoples relationship with king rama9, is what majorly complicates things. Many ppl (myself included) still respects other living members of the royal families, therfore holding their tong and still putting up with king rama10's scandles.

Finally, TLDR makes a summary of my country. These kinds of events won't happen if the govt just listen to the people!
One thing to note: The main reason that the decree was pulled out is, suspiciously, because they try to create "Yellow shirt" (someone called them Minion) mob, using the government employees, to counter ongoing protest. There are reports that those mobs are harassing, or even attack the protestor. Even the king is implicitly supporting those Minion. He publicly thanks the Minion for that matter too.

A side note: the previous king was a much beloved figure in Thailand, enjoying huge popularity almost to the point of deification. He was often able to limit the effects of the previous coup save the last 3, but this also increased the importance of the monarchy within Thai culture. In the last few (covered in the video) he did very little, maybe due to advanced age (he died in his 90s).
The new king is...well...not as popular. He has had a lot of scandals, and some hoped one of the princesses would take over. But it did not happen. So you have a king who is not popular, riding the power his father created and the military backing him, and doesn't even bother living in the country he rules.

You got the information mostly right, except just one thing, the election rule:
Before the problematic 2017 constitution, Thai people were used to vote 2 cards for 2 seperated types of MPs namely party list MPs and local MPs (1 MPs per 1 big district or 3 - 4 small districts) and the final numbers of MPs for each type were also calculated seperately. However, when writing the 2017 constitution, Meechai Ruechuphan (the writer) was ordered to set a new system of election to most benefit the new born parties and least benefit the old parties with strong supporters in each area. Meechai then set the rules as follows:
The old system was completely replaced. Thais now have to vote just 1 card for both types of MPs. The final numbers of MPs for each type are then calculated by this method:
    (1) the parliament consists of two types of members: MPs 500 from election, and Senators 250 from appointment, total of 750.
    For the MPs:
    (2) the proportion of seats won by the party is the total number of cards voted for the party divided by the total number of valid voted cards (all parties combined)
    (3) the total number of MPs (party list + local) is the result in (2) times the total seats of MPs, 500.
    (4) the number of local MPs is the actual number of MPs won in each local area.
    (5) the number of party list MPs is the remaining number of MP seats for the party.
    (6) if the number of local MPs exceeds the total number of MPs for the party, the total number of MPs escalates to the number of local MPs. No party list MPs won the seat.
    (7) If after (1) - (6), the total number of MPs exceeds 500, the numbers of party list MPs of every party are reduced down proportionally to the point where the total number of MPs become 500.
Can you see that the system got a lot more complicated? Also can you notice that by this rule, for the old parties with stong supporters in each local area, they have very few or no party list MPs at all! This is to destroy the power of leader teams of "For Thai" party which is anti-military. Also the local MPs won are more easily convinced by money from the opposed parties. But it also resulted in a decrease in the numbers of MPs of the democrat party (old pro-millitary)
In contrast, for the new parties, they would have a lot of party list MPs. Which is more powerful in the parliament. But it also benefits the Future Forward party (new anti-military). But with the senators appointed by the government themselves, it was enough for them to win.
Fun fact: before the PM selection by the parliament, PM Prayut said that each senator has their own thought. So please don't criticize them. The result was 249 senators out of 250 chose Prayut, the only one who did not was the senate president.

    - Goverment had yet to enforce Telegram ban as the Emergency decree was now repled, the power to enfocre this decree was lost.
    - Regarding monachy reform, this maybe not possible yet.
As Draft Bills regarding esthabishment of Consituent assembly to darft a new constitution that was present by both opposition and goverment parties now waiting for aproval in the frist reading forbade any altering regarding the institution of monachy whatsoever.
Even "Peu Thai Party (PT)", the main opposition party, which always want this goverment to be removed, always silent in the issue of monarchy. Only "Move Forward party (MFP)" which hold only 50/500 of seat in the Lower House support this demands of the protester. Seat in the parliament of MFP is expected to futher decrease in the next election, as it is nearly a concensus between the goverment and the opposition that current MMP system should be abolish and replace with Pallarel voting system which favor a large party. MFP which got a lot compensary seat under MMP will suffers.
As the Draft bill is expected to pass the parliament in december a referendum should be took place in early 2021. I dont know how will protester react to the prospect that the constueint assembly cannot touch the monachy, will they call for a boyycot? Or vote no? or they will accept a New Constitution (not a current junta draft constitution) for a Political Refrom frist, then push for reformation of the monachy in the future? Removing the pretty and need-to-translate words, I believe they want to exactly remove lese majeste law, targeting better law enforcement and equality.
However, this also allows criticism to the monarchy, which many people think that it may lead to monarchy mistrust and perhaps dissolution.
Which, indeed, people started to mistrust not only this king, but also previous ones, when scandals are allowed to be investigated into.

There's a difference between moaning about free content, and pointing out a problem the creators might want to address in the future.
The combination of Zac's enunciation and the technical quality of the audio recording meant that I had to rewind and listen again at three or four spots in the video - and English is my first language. I know the TLDR network has loads of viewers and listeners for whom that's not the case, so I can imagine it might be even tougher for them to follow along.
This is not to say that I'm not super grateful to Zac and TLDR that I now know 100x what I did before about Thailand's political environment. I hope Zac never stops making videos like this.
