Mega Man X - Sigma's Fortress : Stage 4

Well now, this series took a lot longer than it should have, but oh well, such is when life has you being really busy! This last stage is really just the final boss and nothing more. That said, the last boss has three forms, the first two are pretty easy when you know how to deal with them, the last is the only difficult one. Lots of hard to dodge attacks, and staying on his claws to land hits is a real pain. Doing a minimalist run of the game is basically the same as doing a no damage run with this boss... if you get hit twice you are dead without any power-ups.
The credits for this one really do drag on too long. Slow scrolling text ending, very long highway sequence, and then the credits themselves... The majority of this video is the ending rather than the battle itself! That said, I do enjoy this game, it is easily the best of the X series for me. You barely have to do any back-tracking to get 100% of the power-ups, which was definitely not the csae in later games of the series, the stages were all fun and interesting, and the weapons had purpose rather than later games where they were mostly horrible. I may do X2 and X3 at some point, but that is about it.
