I played in a grindcore ,stoner rock band in the 90's. We found ourselves recording at Tim Finn's Periscope studio in the 90's. Nice little Art Deco house in Balaclva. . I sat myself down at his upright piano and played this song.
Escapade was a favourite in the 80’s growing up as a teenager and in a Minor Key was my old girl friends and my favourite song around the campfires, Listening to it today brought back so many awesome memories and Tim Finn was just awesome to listen too, Never gets old.
Unfortunately there was (and still is) a chain of auto repair stores in the US called "Meineke" (pronounced "my-nah-key") so when I bought Tim's album back in the day it was like "Oh mein scheisse I'm trapped inside a German-sounding car fix-it garage!
