RIP General Elevator at the Water St Garage, New London CT

Instead of maintaining/fixing their original elevator, this property made the odd decision to install a new elevator in a separate location! While it's too bad the original one isn't still operating (it looks like it had some character), I do appreciate the garage choosing to have their new elevator have a big window.
I got a kick out of the "Not an Elevator" sign. YES IT IS YOU CAN'T FOOL ME! LOL

I went to this parking garage in 2018. Found it odd how they had an elevator sitting abandoned but since this is New London it didn’t surprise me. Also, at the other side of the garage there is a KONE EcoSpace
