Whatever you do.......Do not.....Do not.....Do not pack like this! WTF Kevin Hicks. First of all, secure your slink tabs and stow your excess brake lines before giving advice on packing. If your pack job opened so great like this. Why the different canopy?Next, where is the nose of your slider? Rolling that much of the nose is begging for massive twists, a line over or more hard openings. That's a lot of spinning the canopy in one pack job. (I know kevin and I am just busting Kevin's balls.... kind of) The problem with the Sabre 1's was that when they came out, not a lot of people knew what a pro pack was. Flat packing or roll packing was the pack job of choice. Packing anything with an automatic off heading opening will cause it to open hard eventually. After so many hard openings the spectra lines would Shrink from the friction of the slider coming down. No one relined canopies back in the day so the option was to put pocket sliders or lip sliders or dome sliders on canopies that were out of trim. If your canopy is slamming you that bad, it is probably out of trim. Reline it and pro pack away!A 20x31 slider is standard. Using a larger slider is better
Yeah, it oppened like a normal canopy using this method!
Thanks bro!
