Do you collect Kenner Batman, Horror, or 6 Million Dollar Man?
My mom's friend had a son who was a couple years older than me. She gave me a lot of old toys that her son outgrew. That included my first Six Million Dollar Man figure but more exciting was the Maskatron. I loved that figure. I was just disappointed that the only had the Maskatron mask but not the Steve Austin or Oscar Goldman. This was right around the time GI Joe released Zartan so the concept of masked figures was at its peak in my play pattern.
I still have my 90s figures and even got into the Dc multiverse line.But mainly the 2021-22 ones.Always love Batman
I have a few Kenner batman, I really enjoyed them as a kid and glad I still have them

Don't collect vintage. My collecting goes back to the initial early bird star wars release, which my landlord threw in the garbage some years back, the only thing I held onto from kid times. But as far as the six million dollar man, I was a huge fan, and the only fan club I ever belonged to for 3$ big ones back then. Got a lithograph autograph from Lee majors I was hugely disappointed by. But understood he couldn't afford the time to sign 800 million, billion autographs at the time 😛
What’s funny is as a kid I didn’t watch Trek or 6 Million Dollar Man, but my dad did. I ended up with a bunch of toys of them, and played the heck out of them, but I swear I got them for Xmas ‘cause Dad actually wanted them. And to be fair, my eldest son got Star Wars stuff in ‘99 when he was 5 mainly because I loved them. Funny how that stuff goes full circle.
My kids have lots of things that they like, that I loved 😂😂
Not to be mean, but that guy could be on King Of the Hill.😂. The accent, Dr Pepper, sunglasses hanging on a strap, American flag-Bass, hair tied back.😂
I'm amazed of how much you guys really know your toys. Of course that's why you run a store but still of how each figure comes with this and that accessories from different toy lines probably took you years.
I loved the toybiz batman figures as a kid, especially Bob the Goon. Good times. Apart from Batman (1989) and Returns ive never been into super heroes.
I think that Batman bank was attached to a box of cereal back in the day! I remember having that, but can't remember the cereal... maybe Kix? 🤔 Love seeing all the Batman figures from when I was a kid.

I had the shrink wrapped bank and cereal back in the day. Planning to save it.
Unfortunately there was a party at my apartment, where someone opened the cereal ,busted the box and spread cereal around the rooms!
I dont remember what cereal it was either. I did keep the bank, but i assumed without
the whole thing it was worthless.
The cereal was a Batman Branded Cereal that was shaped like bats.

I remember watching Steve Austin aka Six Million Dollar Man on tv when I was a kid.The intro to the show was awesome.The show was epic.
At First I was like how Could you Sell that Collection?!, But he didn't Deserve it in the First Place.

That Lionel Playworld shirt is awesome! There has never been another toy store as great as that one. I always like how they had toys you could try out and play with in the store.

I think he was referring to the Pam and young Jason Voorhees 2 pack that was an exclusive at SDCC. Currently its in the $500 range

Nostalgia! I remember getting Air Attack Batman at Toys R Us as a kid. Loved the variant Camo Batmans haha. I had a few others too.
Have tons of horror figures. Alot ton voorhees, stuff. Few them I have. Would love that Hellraiser. Been collecting horror stuff since I was a kid. Guess them movies were kinda like how people had playboy mags back the day

I collect certain horror figures. I use to have a lot of McFarlane Horror. But these days Im more focused on the vintage items from my childhood. So I have several Real Ghostbusters, Kenner Beetlejuice, Tales from The Crypt keeper etc.
The Real Ghostbusters is ridiculously expensive and difficult to collect.

I developed a theory regarding the Real Gbs & Beetlejuice toy lines. You know the football player who turns into a monster in the Real Gbs line? It sure does seem to me that he was developed for the Beetlejuice line but put in Ghostbusters for whatever reason. His uniform is even the same colors as the football players in the Beetlejuice movie!
@@ioncewasmikey Just noticed that Kenner re released The Real Ghostbusters Wave 1 and the Fright Face figures as Wal Mart exclusives a couple years ago
@underwaterlevelz1947 Yeah and that wave 1 stuff ended up going clearance for pennies on the dollar. There might still be a market for people who want true vintage, but those are toward the bottom of the list as far as things I'd sell lol.

Glad to see Batman come through the door. Have collected Batman for a long time. Kenner was a major improvement over the Toybiz toy line.
I have a friend who loves collecting Halloween/horror toys (Friday the 13th in particular) but I don't know that he would be willing to pay more for them specifically.

@@toyfederation my meaning is that we realize some toys will hold value for the general toy collecting market, and then certain toys hold value to an individual. A little apples and oranges but we kind of see it with all these startup/crowdfunding efforts. The manufacturer says, this cobra mothership will be $500. The audience replies by either agreeing to back it, or not. Ryan understands better than most probably, that just because someone pays x amount of dollars for a toy, may not mean that the next person(s) to come into the store will.

Still have my bionic Bigfoot I picked out for Christmas in 1979 from Kaybe toys. My dad let me pick. He was 10 bucks. But I also wanted the Chris reeves Superman but it was 20.
I had that Six Million Dollar Man figure and radio, when I was a kid. I’d clip it to the fence in our backyard. I was in the Steve Austin fan club, and had a autographed picture. All that stuff was stolen from us, by a nurse that was taking care of my dad.

i had a bunch of those batman figures including the toy biz bat mobile. i didnt have any horror figures that I can recall. I did have a jason mask 1 year for halloween but thats pretty much it.
Man i wish I could spend a week with you and see all the awesome stuff you get to see and buy another awesome video guys!! Can't wait till i visit my parents again so i can visit the store again
I have that Six Million Dollar Man movie viewer. As a kid these were gold because it was pre VHS, DVD, etc. Can you do a follow up to show the completed SMDM display in all its glorious Pink!?

I have a horror figure of Leatherface that's supposed to be the chase by having extra blood on the apron and on the bucket for the head. NFL Series and Marvel Legends chases use to be just like an open mouth or different color of something, but horror changed it to blood or an eye poking out. I couldn't imagine knowing all the variations of what you have in stock.

The Movie Maniacs and McFarland horror toys don't appreciate much because when people buy them they like to display them in the packaging. I'd hazard that most units sold are never opened. Part of that can be put squarely on McFarland for making figures and packaging them TOO NICELY.
My brother and I hope to open a small decent toy store someday. We definitely have enough inventory

Used to love my 6M$M toys........ Used to have the wicked SpaceLab/Rocket thing, both Austin dolls in this vid + Oscar Goldman...... Used to have the radio back-pack thing too which used to blow my mind as a kid.
One thing though; I remember the Pulsar Man toy; but did he ever appear in any of the episodes of the TV show?

and there the expect to be paid in TOP prices !! which they have seen sometimes on sales-sites where they
