- At the Dubai Airshow, Boeing welcomed visitors inside the 777-9, one of four test aircraft in the 777X program to certify the widebody, long-haul airliner in 2025. The aircraft is packed with test equipment to record huge volumes of flight data as pilots put it through its paces. With new GE9X engines and folding wingtips, the 777X program is greatly expanding the big twin family’s capability and efficiency.

Wish I could talk as fast as this guy. I'd be a used car salesman.
Yes indeed and it was really geared to companies that were going to buy the aircraft and not necessarily to the client flying on it for you know the company and shareholders are going to make the Profits through Gains achieved with the savings. He did seem to have his poop in a group accentuating all of the positives.

Very dramatic entrance for 777-9!!!!😊
Just hope no windows will blow out, or no hidden software (MCAS) will be installed without telling authorities and the pilots.
That was a cute dig he made at the A350 with the engines. lol
That's like a Dacia owner having a dig at the engine in a BMW 😂😂😂
Can Boeing still take a dig at anyone now?
GE 9X was the biggest, RR Ultrafan is bigger still.
inspections done adequate bonding and electrical grounding at the 787 wing-to-body join. And solved ! FAA checked everything OKAY ! They did every test needed, engineers did their job well done
Engineers do all the Job and Fix all things on time! Money budget its avaible in the time we get quality and safety
To all the conspiracy theorists out there: Yes, they are indeed barrels full of mind control fluid. Now let us carry on with our day. Cheers!
Wonder how many people will die this time
So they're skipping -400, -500, -600, -700, and -800, and going straight to the -900?
That seems a bit short-sighted and counter-intuitive if you ask me.
Boeing marketing has been dumb for a while.
they didn't choose any of those. it's not the 900. its the 9. get it straight. completely moots your point.
First, it’s the 777-9, not -900, get your facts right
Second, Boeing does have a 777-8 on the way, so they did not skip -8 (or in your words, -800)
Third, Airbus did the same thing with the A330 family, so if you call Boeing shortsighted for this reason, then you must say the same for Airbus
i bet the 777 500 will be a XL wide body with 15 seats per row
