I like that way you list many of the great games. You are totally right - they are great. Now get ready for walking mostly in the desert for years to come, with mostly shovelware with n64 graphics.
I just listed the ones I've played so far, I have a tab split between Meta, PSVR2 and PCVR games I plan on slowly playing over the years. Now not all of them will be of the highest quality but 3 or 4 huge titles a year mixed in-between a lot of AA type games doesn't sound too bad.
There's a huge amount of high quality VR games to play. More than a regular person has enough time to get through in years, imo. Most people just don't bother to look.
I don't think anyone is criticizing the games quality, the only real reason for the hatred is its exclusivity like you said. Which I think is justified, the Quest 3 isn't like a console, they don't have a direct competitor in their price range, they have a flat-out monopoly, so its easy to hate the company who is already on top continuing to make anti-consumer decisions that lock fans off of famous franchises. Which is the key difference between Meta and someone like Nintendo. Meta has exclusives that are based on major franchises they use to sell systems and really only one original game in Asgard's wrath 2, which I do not have any problem with. Someone like Nintendo, sure it's annoying as a PC user to be locked to weaker hardware, but Nintendo created most of its exclusive franchises, and they were historically exclusive to their systems. Games like Arkham, Resident Evil, and Assassin's Creed have never been exclusive to any one system, so this happening for the first time on the headset with the monopoly? It's easy to hate. I'm sure Arkham shadow will be of high quality, and great fun for the people who play it. It's just Meta's constant anti-consumer practices that make it hated. Nice video though, Glad you were willing to share your opinion.
I don't think the game looks bad, it actually looks amazing. The problem is not everyone can afford an 1000 dollar headset. I will probably never have the opportunity to play the game for the next 10 years more than likely and even that's a little for me.
I don't know who's telling you 1000, the Meta Quest 3 is like $499. Still as expensive as a PS5 or Series X and there's not many exclusives yet which maybe why people are waiting.
I mean how many people paid $400+ for an xbox one when halo 4 came out? Ps5 to play god of war? Honestly people cant even complain about price of entry because meta has made it and is going to continue to make it so much easier to get into. Ive asked people who just tell me they arent interested in vr why and they always quote the price. Why would i pay that much to play a videogame when its cheaper or on par with modern consoles today. The days of tech demos are slowly but surely getting behind us. I dint feel like theres any reason to not give it a shot other than stubborness.
Yeah Meta Quest 3 is about $499, I just think people are waiting for more banger exclusives. AC Nexus was incredible and Arkham Shadows looks just as good if not better. It's only been out a year and there's a ton of great exclusive games on it that I'm just getting into now.

I'm sure Arkham shadow will be of high quality, and great fun for the people who play it. It's just Meta's constant anti-consumer practices that make it hated.
Nice video though, Glad you were willing to share your opinion.
Maybe the Quest3S being $299 might bring more adopters over to try some of these games.
From what I've heard the game is incredible
I don't think the game looks bad, it actually looks amazing. The problem is not everyone can afford an 1000 dollar headset. I will probably never have the opportunity to play the game for the next 10 years more than likely and even that's a little for me.
Use Google real quick. A quest is not $1000
I don't know who's telling you 1000, the Meta Quest 3 is like $499. Still as expensive as a PS5 or Series X and there's not many exclusives yet which maybe why people are waiting.
You can buy a Quest 3S for 299.-, and it will come bundled with Arkham Shadow.
@@Drexxyl and the 3s is to start releasing at $299. They are doing that along side of Arkham shadow to even further the amount of people that can play it.
@@codyholbrooks4875 Yeah a black Meta Quest 3s would be pretty sick to go alongside Arkham Shadow.
I own a meta quest 2 and i hardly touch it or use it and For 500$ just to play 1 game it's not worth the asking price.
@@thatjackass1403 the 3s is coming out soon for $299. What games or experiences have you tried on it? Because if you aren't broadening your horizons and you only see the shovelware or the old tech demos then yeah I fully understand. I play standalone only. But I also use it to watch videos, play flat screen apps like RuneScape or call of duty mobile on a 70 inch screen. Like there are so many more things than just tech demos now. Assassin's creed Best was the first game I've played and beat in a long time because it was so interactive and immersive. Just don't get that with flat screen.
You should try Blade and Sorcery.
Risk? What do you mean? Meta own the studio
It should also be available on PSVR 2.
@@thebulldozer9198 no it shouldn’t,it was funded by Meta and is being developed by Camouflaj, which happens to be a first party studio owned by Meta.just like Sony uses exclusive content to sale PlayStation consoles,Meta is doing the same to sale the Quest 3
With that being said,I definitely understand the frustration.it’s not like PSVR2 owners don’t have a lot to look forward to as well though.they just announced the Hitman trilogy and tomorrow will be the official announcement of Starship Troopers VR too.those are too huge exclusives for PSVR2
Might be a meta exclusive because of an upcoming xbox collab with meta quest vr
Arkham Shadow is a Meta Quest 3 exclusive. Meta might have it ported to PCVR in the future though, it's up to them if they want to.
@@Drexxyl i heard leaks about meta vr being used on the upcoming xbox
@@SarimSense You can play Xbox on the Quest headsets on a giant screen.
It’s made for VR though!
@@Dogboy73 Meta funded and are developing the game though.this isn’t a Rocksteady project like the other Batman Arkham games.I believe there is a misconception and people think Rocksteady abandoned PS5,Xbox Series X/S and PC in order to make a Quest 3 exclusive.that would be dumb and they would never do this, they would want to have their games accessible to as many gamers as possible.Meta is just trying to sale as many headsets as possible
Its cheaper to get a quest 3 than it is to buy a ps5 pro. Ill let that sink in
You should try, Into The Radius
That's kinda like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. in VR or closely related right?
@@Drexxyl Yup!
@@Drexxyl One of the best VR games, period. Also, look into Vertigo 1 and 2. Vertigo 2, especially, is a better Half Life game than Half Life Alyx gameplaywise.
@@LARVideos One of the benefits to waiting so long for VR is my backlog is astronomical. So many bangers I gotta play.
This game wouldn't be an issue and so controversial if Wb actually made a stream of good dc games.Dc fans out here starving for content meanwhile marvel fans eating.
Yes 100%
Great vid unfortunately VR is something you need to try, until they do it just looks like a bad graphics FPS Arkham game and they will not understand it.
I'd say it looks about on par with the 360/PS3 Arkham games. I agree on having to try it though as I had the same thoughts about VR until actually putting on the headset and actually playing some games.
@@Drexxyl indeed though if you go back to these ps3/360 games you will notice that while still good graphics close up textures would not be good enough for an FPS view so this game has far more detailed textures.
@@RedcoatTrooper I feel like that's any FPS game though, zoom in too close on textures and you're bound to see the imperfections. For an entirely wireless headset, I think Shadows is damn impressive.
But yeah, it’s the Sony ponies that are making all the complaining and bitching in the comment section that this game isn’t coming to their shitty console
All the people dogging it are Sony PlayStation fan boys because it’s not coming to their gay VR headset
The only ones butt hurt about this is Sony PlayStation fan boys because they expect all of the Batman games and all DC games to be on. PlayStation only forget you fanboy all Meta here.
Absolutely not, no game is worth 500 dollars
@JohnnyNoPockets I already have a quest 2, I have no reason to buy a whole new headset for 1 or 2 new games
@JohnnyNoPockets idk man, vr is vr
Quest 3 exclusivity, not even on pcvr
Yeah it's a double exclusive whammy. Meta is footing the bill for it though so it wouldn't even exist without them. Who knows maybe they'll port it within a year to pcvr.
The next installment should be an LG Refridgerator Exclusive. Hey at least it's not Suicide Squad am I right?
I take it you're a Suicide Squad fan? I mean despite the hate games like The Avengers got, it was still decent for what it was and the characters played as one would expect. In SS pretty much all the characters played the same and no one really stood out, and the story was hot caca.
hot take suicide squad is genuinely good apart from batmans death the rest of it is fire
You are in the vast minority in that opinion, lol. What did you like most about the game?
the endgame sucks
😂😂😂😂 it was absolute fire??? only fire that game has is the fire it was thrown into by rocksteady and sweet baby inc. Absolute woke garbage.
1:30 Origins is the worst of the saga, the most part of the game is recycled from city and the only thing that can be saved are the boss fights
It's an entirely different map compared to City though? While I prefer Cities map by a country mile there are many good things about Origins, like it's story and as you mentioned the boss fights.
@@Drexxyl The story is very mid
