Even more busted is Akihiko in your team with the auto buff masukukaja shoes, and auto-rakukaja / auto-tarukaja accessories, along with the tarukabellion shoes, and he just constantly is ready for Theurgy.
I think hes likely the most useful character if someone were to do lets say a low level challenge run, or speedrunning the game due to how frequently his theurgy comes up if propped up correctly. But I personally find it difficult to replace either Ken (2 elemental attacks) or Koromaru (again 2 elemental attacks but with 2 blocks as well) and perhaps even Yukari due to her halving sp costs for healing skills. I know for sure likely any combination of characters will suffice, but when I was trying to get the last trophy for the game, the Theurgy one and after basically not using Akihiko the whole game, I noticed how quick the theurgy charged and I was like ok, so his weapons are underpowered for most of the game, and the reason is this. I also found an article online speaking about a mistranslation in Akihikos theurgy saying something like "grows when he buffs himself" but in reality it doesn't matter where the buff comes from, and since you can do the tarukabellion shoes on him, the masukukaja weapon of aigis, or the shoes, and lets say the auto-marakukaja accessory essentially buffing him 4 times, with zero actions in battle, he gets it quick. I think another thing I noticed was that he hits more times, like mitsuru to kind of make up for their weaker seeming weapons early in the game, so the characters are balanced and have ways of being propped up, its just up to the player to synergize their team properly. @@Xepherion

If you enter the fight with All charge up attacks, Koromaru's Theurgy, or get lucky with Fuuka's Theurgy, Siegfried is just insane. I need to test if Junpei can oneshot Reaper though

Honestly i didn't realise junpei was such a crit machine because i was too busy getting crits with the mc. Critrate boost + amp + multi target boost + slash boost on Siegfried go brrr, I was oneshotting Tartarus and monad bosses, it was nuts

@@curuzinho7818 each character has two evening activities and you need to do both of them 3 times to unlock the characteristic. For junpei you need to take care of the garden and read with him.
As the guy above me said, each character has 2 evening activities that can level up their characteristic. However, they can upgrade if you do their other activity 3 times aswell. In the video he only has crit boost, while Junpei can get crit amp as his upgraded one

Yeah physical damage is absolutely god-tier in P3R, especially late game.
I jokingly Ran a mc support build, with junpei as my main phys damage dealer. He was critting every other attack.
