i beat the reaper with Yukari, Aegis, and Koromaru. Sure it may sound like a shitty idea to have 2 people weak to zio but it kept him from spamming Megidolaon and would instead only give 1 opportunity for a follow up turn. Since he uses Primal Force after he knocks somone down, hes forced to target Yukari because Aegis is immune to it. So while he tunnels Yukari, she keeps us alive while we keep her alive with items, Koromaru uses debilitate and Tempest Slash while me and Aegis do most of the damage and do emergency healing, and with that startegy we can constantly keep firing Theurgies at him, especially Yukari since all she does is heal.
@@Zeraoras You can also craft an accessory that null winds from that antique shop lady. Actually that lady allows you to craft accessories that null every damage except almighty. So you can block all your teammates weakness if your willing to farm for the materials. For junpei its called the storm ring.

Wait, does Koromaru learn debilitate naturally? I was already planning on keeping him in the party for his dark damage, now I have a better reason to keep him for boss battles. My endgame team also includes Junpei for his physical attacks and defense buffs, and Ken for healing.
I was on Normal with a level 78 team and I was cooking the Reaper. He used insta kill though and ruined it, killing Makoto. Had to turn on Peaceful, he kept abusing insta kills.

@@aceng1 around when the 3rd block in Tartarus open (after rescue Fuuka i think), also he will sell you other upgrades for the ambush abilities as well near late game (reduce dash time, more chances to inflict ailments...) so just go to club escapade and check once in a while 😂
it's a locked chest on a boss floor, Makotos is ridiculously high up around 250. Not sure on the exact number, I remember seeing it online but haven't found a source for it

yes, one of koromaru's last skills he learns via level up is Debilitate

yukari is a better healer but ken’s second theurgy goes crazy
Yukari is a way better healer in reload imo. Healing moves for her cost 25% of what they’d usually be and she also gets full party concentrate
Is the reaper susceptible to freeze/shock? I know the severe skills are no longer guaranteed to inflict those but could that angle work?

That’s the ambush animation, you will unlock new ambush abilities when you buy info from the shady man at club escapade and read it
You need to buy the URL on the escapade then use shared pc to learn the ambush move

Shock no longer guarantees crit. Freeze does now. The severe tier spells have a base 60% rate.
