As an amateur singer the most incredibly awesome thing for me was how much the crowd gathered momentum as the song went on. They actually started out a bit shaky, but keep building as more voices not just join, but join at full strength, fans realize what's going on and get behind it and the snowball starts to really get rolling, then around the time they hit the killer high note, there was just not gonna be any stopping them. I've never seen such a strength of common will just spontaneously form and roll out of control like that.

I remember the bombing, and I remember when they found him. For a good few months, Boston's teams were my second favorite, except for the Patriots, cause they beat the crap out of my Steelers a lot. And in the case of the Celtics, they were my favorite. I watched this game, and I cried, and I'm not even a Bostonian.

In reply to my own comments, My Uncle is a Boston Police Officer and was called onto duty as a first responder on Monday. I was in tears when they gave all marathon runners and had some troops in the arena to represent the whole BPD community. I am glad that this is now over and that my Uncle is safe. Boston is resilient and Boston is strong. I am proud to live in this city. Boston will always be my home. #BostonStrong
