mrmatters8448 It was an attack on a historic event in a city. Thought out and executed with nothing malice. In one instant it changed the lives of millions of people. The death toll may not have been enormous, but fear and chaos ensued for four days. I don't disagree that it's time to move forward, but that doesn't mean that emotion should diminish, or that you should condescend people who still feel them.

+mrmatters8448 Hope you feel good about yourself, douche. What if it was someone you knew closely? AND the fact that it was only three people with a response like this goes to show you the sense of unity and family in Boston, that you can't find anywhere else. Think before you disrespect the small child and other two who died innocently, jackass.

As an amateur singer the most incredibly awesome thing for me was how much the crowd gathered momentum as the song went on. They actually started out a bit shaky, but keep building as more voices not just join, but join at full strength, fans realize what's going on and get behind it and the snowball starts to really get rolling, then around the time they hit the killer high note, there was just not gonna be any stopping them. I've never seen such a strength of common will just spontaneously form and roll out of control like that.

In reply to my own comments, My Uncle is a Boston Police Officer and was called onto duty as a first responder on Monday. I was in tears when they gave all marathon runners and had some troops in the arena to represent the whole BPD community. I am glad that this is now over and that my Uncle is safe. Boston is resilient and Boston is strong. I am proud to live in this city. Boston will always be my home. #BostonStrong

No one told us to sing the National Anthem. We just took over with so much emotion. Tears just poured out as I was singing along with every fan there. After the Game the Sabres team skated to Center ice and raised their sticks to the fans. I was blown away.

Boston is my home. Only cried really hard twice that I can remember in my life. This was one. I balled. Really is incredible how the town came together and only grew stronger - people who ran the marathon kept running to the hospital after to donate blood... something about the people here, we watch out for one another. Three years later, this moment still gets me choked up.
