Just got my new cx8 yesterday. Those handles 13:21 are surely missing in the back as discovered in a Melbourne Canberra Sydney Blue Mountain Sydney Melbourne Tour. 19:16 A very nice car to drive. Thankful comments from an racing rally car driver cx8 owner aka turbus. nice tutorial about the safety shutdown of the cx8 upon the overheating of the brakes, auto fluids, to prevent component failure.19:001:35 I ordered my cx8 scuff plates, this morning. 3:15 sensing the owner, my car
20:17 when a civic turbo overtook a cx-8 with 5 pax inside, triggered the rally gods in ys khong! seemingly overtook him back in 22:29 but i cant be sure. its definitely not the drive but the driver in it!
May I knw when and where do uncle YS and the gang go up the hill? I would like to join 1 day in the future as well~ it's always fun seeing SUV being handled well while going up hill👍👍
I am choosing between cx8 2.5t and tiguan 2.0, and I am hesitant which one to choose. I have a family and a baby, so I don’t know which one to choose. Which one is better between cx8 and tiguan in terms of sound insulation and comfort? In terms of power, tiguan is better, and there are 4motion and Awd, which one is safer and more comfortable when turning or raining?
Curious, is the gvc thing like xds in vw? Like another term for the same function? Or they work in a different way to achieve the similar outcome while cornering? Anyways, nice video as always Uncle 💪🏼
Not sure why Smart City Brake Support relates to brakes overheated. From google: The Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) system is designed to reduce damage in the event of a collision by operating the brake control (SCBS brake) when the system's laser sensor (front) detects a vehicle ahead and determines that a collision with a vehicle ahead is unavoidable
Learnt something on this video. My cx5 also has many sensors. The other day i replaced the boost brake sensor under warranty. I didnt notice anything but detected by regular maintenance check.
Haha, master YS Khong showing how to drive a bus.
The car handled so well n so smoothly. Amazing.
Nice, the brakes even overheated with the relaxed drive. Most of us, even with spirited driving, might not overheat the brake. Uncle is legend.
I wonder did the rest of the cars in the convoy experience over-heating in their brakes or not? They were much farther and faster ahead of the Mazda.
@@findtheracingline It would depend on the load of their cars, but since most already have high-end brakes, probably not.

Do get in touch.
Please try the "bus ride" on the CX-8 non-turbo to compare. :)
The back seats are used occasionally only. So give us the 7 seat turbo.cx-8.
One thing is for sure: Genting Highland is like the Nurburgring
Waiting for the new cx-8 video

4Motion and AWD mean the same thing. Both are good, so just buy the one that appeals to you more.
Another Review Achievement
ouch, brakes overheated and also transmission... it's a heavy car, so need to drive normal for that weight. Am I right sir YS Khong? :)
With the extra weight, yes, need to go a bit, just a bit slower, and it will be okay. I was just a little too fast, hahaha.
@@YSKhongDriving haha yes. pretty good and fast yet safe. hehe
Wait a min Legend YS Kong stays in BM also??
Xiaomin looks nervous😆
Hahaha, maybe. Must ask him
A curious question, why is the brakes overheated when going uphill? Is that because the GVC thing working too hard?
Because we were braking into the corners
3rd row is it comfortable for an adult?
Average size is okay. Taller guys may squeeze in but will be a bit tight.
Hi where do you get the car sanitiser from
From Medklinn.
Can see MinTan worried...
Because he is still single - find him a wife, somebody!
Hi uncle, is this the 2wd version or AWD?
AWD
mr khong driving is very fast i like the car that have 3 row of sit
If we have to carry more people, 3 rows is really useful.

The system senses the brakes are hot, which means the scbs will not function as well, so sends a signal to warn driver, and later goes into limp mode
