Rewatching all the old lectures--great stuff! Obviously, the topic is relevant to multiple religions/mythologies (and I certainly won't critique anyone for their spiritual/cultural beliefs), but the amount of pseudoscience and conspiracy theories in this comment section is fascinating!

What is fascinating is that all peoples including Native Americans throughout North and South American, Africa, Asia, Europe and the Polynesian cultures a world that shares a common history and have a great flood event in their stories. There are various differences but the similarities outweigh the differences in a way that supports the unique account that is found in the book of Genesis.

It is so amazing how close humanity gets to mysteries, at 32:22 showing the sky, the sun, the moon, and the comet, just above the ecliptic as the Taurid Stream, that caused the fire from the sky and the deluge. Then at 33:50 showing all of the previous along with lightning and rocks in the sky representing super bolides as everyone knows lightning does not produce stones. Alike Adad's thunder axe with curvy vortices (Filler from a prior video.) Even the first line with torches of fire and brilliance sure describes bolides not lightning. Look up Chinese New Year Dragons noticing the bright pearl they chase and compare footage of the 2013 Russian Meteor. The repeating sevens are a reminder of the Pleiades in-which it came exactly as one of the central monoliths of enclosure D in Gobekli Tepe stands on showing dominance over the seven birds. This one must represent the sun and the partner monolith has a bull on its chest representing the constellation of Taurus as in the Taurid Stream. That had to be the best Penn. video that I've seen so far.

A bolide of molten sulfur smashed into western Egypt, creating the Qattara Depression, continued on to hit the bottom of the Mediterranean Sea, then smashed into Turkey, leaving an impact site called Anaximander Mountain. The sulfur fumes slid down the mountains to the Nile where it condensed on the cool water as a blood red liquid. Pools of molten sulfur formed in every depression and burned with thick columns of smoke. The sulfur in the air burned like the sun and extended daylight for another ten hours. To observers it looked like a sun except it stayed in the same position. Water vapor formed by the hot object saturated the atmosphere over a huge area. This would later come back to the sea as relentless rain. The water level rose until it was halfway up the sides of the Great Pyramid. That would be 137 meters above sea level. From the size of the round mark it left on the sea floor, it appeared to be at least 110km in diameter. This flood wiped out the civilizations around the Mediterranean Sea. Those in the mountains survived including the slaves working in Luxor. They fled from Egypt, using the column of smoke to guide them by day and the flames by night. This explains the many strange things written in the Bible including all the plagues. People migrated to the now uninhabited area meeting little resistance from whatever survivors were still there.

It explains the flood, the exodus, all the plagues and all the evidence that we know about the collapse. It also flooded the Black Sea with saltwater that is still there. Also we have the impact crater and all the surrounding devastation. The number of current theories that can even come close is zero.

The Ark was lost a long time ago, before or during the classical era, probably during one of the many sacks of Jerusalem. Careful where you get your information on youtube, a lot of it is insane rubbish

My friend,the real ark has never been seen by any human,except the ancient Israelites(Hebrews),however the ark is real!,and we know it’s real because it exists.The real ark of the covenant holding the real tablets of the 10 commandments is held in a Christian orthodox church in Ethiopia,no-one,this includes scientists,archeologists,historians,or even Christian leaders can see it except the one monk(name of the head of a Orthodox Church,similar to a priest of a Catholic Church)assigned to guard it.This is because believing in god is by the heart not by sight.

Since covid-19 I've had my nose in a lot of literature of course I might have to weed out some but it definitely has become overwhelming many questions I have especially from (please don't let my ignorance discourage you) the book of Adam and Eve or is that Genesis I've listen to audiobooks one of the Genesis and includes half the stuff of Adam and Eve??? If archaeologists want to lecture in mythical matters of the cultural Stories of Creation, they logically need to be familiar with descriptions of astronomy and cosmology, as such informations are included and described in the ancient mythical Stories of Creation.

The Flood Myth concerns celestial informations directly connected to the creation of the Milky Way, and has nothing to do with disastrous catastrophes on Earth, hence there logically were no aftermaths as well.

As a human who love the Almighty One though I don't know the past like everybody does, the followings may be right from my findings.
1. The flood story is found in every culture though different in the stories. It is a fact.
2. This was done to destroys all living beings created by God. Humans as usual are naughty, greedy and indisciplined just as in the present days.
3. Some survived the flood and God had sympathy over them and lives continues again. The people live longer in the past is a fact. The Earth was more cleaner and healthier.
4. There was God who created us. Evil and good both exist in this world.
5. The differentiation of God is created by man because of difference in language, long separation from one another, kings and rulers and mainly due to the separate dialects and scripts.
6. Civilization rose and declined due to war, famine, drought, epedemics, earthquakes and volcanoes.
7. Let's not fight one another because of our silly differences but love God and love one another.
8. One last request evolutionists and creationists please don't hate one another. Let's find out the truth together.
9. Life is shorter nowadays let's live peacefully.
10. One Sun, one moon and one Earth. Maybe there is only one God for all of us.
There are those that have been here every since. Now inhabiting many. They don't care about getting along. Only to take as many as possible with them in the end. It's happening now.

I think the moon did a half roll when the fountains of the great deep burst open,punneling the moon with huge rocks causing to slowly roll, the side we see today was the far side 4.and half thousand years ago and Chinese scientists are finding the rocks on the far side seem younger then they should be, cos they originate from earth.

They just discovered an impact crater over Greenland which explains the great worldwide flood. It was discovered by NASA beneath Hiawatha Glacier. Amazing times!

The great flood was a meteorite impact down by Madagascar after the last ice age and really did flood everything in that area out of the blue. Didn't rain till all that evaporated sea water fell afterwards and our Bible gets the story from the "epic of Gilgamesh". So it really happened long long before the Egytians built the pyramids close to the end of the last ice age.
I think you need to talk first with one of the other posters here, he seems quite convinced it's not Madagascar but Greenland.

If you are interested in the ark like myself, look into Ron Wyatt's discoveries. The Turks have always known where it is, Ron just did some extensive tests. I believe it is the real thing.

I agree with a lot of what Randall Carlson says, but "academia" MUST follow the facts, otherwise it loses it's credulity. Get your credentials in a science, lay out a set of facts that can't be denied, and your idea will be accepted. I hate it as much as you do, and I personally believe that there was probably a cataclysm that ended the younger dryas around 9000BC (ironically the same time Plato claimed Atlantis was destroyed, which I lean towards believing probably existed although not even close to the way that Edgar Cayce claimed), but just assuming something is so doesn't make it so.
You must be kidding, Noah's flood a little bath? According to the bible the whole earth surface was covered with water suggesting it killed all people (except 8 people i think) and land animals except the ones God told Noah to bring inside the ark. It erased all the knowledge of the antedeluvian period left us with almost zero understanding of preflood period. As a result of the great flood, whole cities that existed in the antedeluvian period are now covered under water, ice or earth. Evironmental conditions were totally different in the preflood age including the water canopy above earth that filiterrd harmful uv rays and contributed to a uniform wamer tropical climate around the whole earth, a greenhouse effect. There was also a lot more land mass (some say 50%land 50% ocean), greater atmospheric pressure, greater concentratiom of oxygen in the atmosphere these are some of the factors which contributef to humams having 8-9x (ateast) longer lifespans, larger animals, greater biodiversity and lush vegetation covering the entire earth but suddenly everything changed due to Noah's flood and you call that a little bath.
After the Great Flood the first civilization was Babel according to the Bible. This was a time when everyone spoke the same language. Plus in Babel at this time the different families that make up many races occupied this land. But what is always suppressed is the fact Nimrod was the king of this first civilization of Babel after the Great Flood. Nimrod was a black man being a cushite and the son of Cush. The bible also shows us Cush's brother Mizraim was the progenitor of the Egyptians. After the Great Flood the bible documents 30 families descended from Ham. Shem has 26 families documented in the bible. Japeth the progenitor of Europeans has only 14 tribes documented. All 3 of Noah's sons was progenitors of mellinated people. Noah's sons had to be men of color to produce people of color. Which means Noah had to be a man of color.

Of All the flood storys ( 200) only one actually has an ark that is proven seaworthy, the storys in this video, have an ark that was a cube and six storys high, has anyone seen a ship like this go by? Cambridge University studies show that Australian Aborigines languages are only 4000 years old, and the Sahara and Antartica were covered in massive amounts of vegetation and trees around 4300 years ago, meaning oxygen and co2 levels were much higher then, ( meaning uniformitarian principles are clearly false)
