@@Thancruz Bruh. SO sick. As M. Davis said, that last Pagua son FAHHHH has been in my head for SO long. How he's also like totally twitching with power and the echo behind it. GOOD shit.
@@jelanirosario5540 You gotta wonder if this was the Proto-Type for Cowboy Bebop seeing as how there are ALOT of voice Actors that Made the transition between Both Shows! That and some of the ques, like Harmonicas, animation choices seem almost Paralleled between them!
@@danielramsey6141 Well, it certainly doesn't have any relation to Cowboy Bebop itself. The manga that came a few years prior was made by Takehiko Ito. He got involved with Sunrise (studio behind Outlaw Star anime and Cowboy Bebop) sometime after beginning the manga because it looked promising and he had an anime made in the past (Ryu Knight) and Outlaw Star's prequel (Future-Retro Hero Story) was very successful. Sunrise outsourced a lot of animation. While I'm sure the people behind Outlaw Star and Cowboy Bebop shared offices sometimes I don't think there's a lot of relation. Remember that the fact Wendee Lee voiced Suzuka and Faye as well as Outlaw Star's narrator being Jet Black's has nothing to do with the Japanese animators. Wendee Lee directed a lot of the voice work for Bandai. At least, if more people had all of this in mind, they'd stop saying that Outlaw Star copied Cowboy Bebop (or is a poor man's version) which is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. 😋
I wish they'd spent at least a couple more episodes developing the Anten Seven. Cramming Hitoriga and Suzuka's backstory into this one brief scene felt like a total fuck-up
I'm not sure they could have done it any other way as they had to work within a strict episode count. On the bright side, the light novels explain the Suzuka/Hitoriga backstory, so at least there's that.
apparently they never address it in the manga either - but it is established that gene and suzuka have known each other for a long time which was obviously not the case with the anime. Personally I like to believe that she loves him. Just adds another fun and spicy layer to this little family dynamic they have. She loves him but is also at peace with his relationship with melfina.
Same goes for Gene requesting Melfina's as cyborg Harry's last wish. Would have been a good scene to play before the post-credit Aisha/Suzuka pickup scene.
I think after killing Suzuka's family he tried to shapeshift into her, but was stuck with her body. We're not told a lot about Suzuka's past, but there's more information in one of the light novels.
@lauragarza6469 I think I somewhat figured it out... but it a hell of a reach lol. Just keep an open mind... a hell of a big open mind with this one lol. Maybe when she said crimson, it was a hint toward his hair.... look like I said that's the only thing I could squeeze out lol
Always loved this anime, but...Damn, I don't remember the animation being this bad. Maybe they were running out of money when they made the last few episodes... Still one of my favorites.
The last episode looked pretty good, it just looked more like several different teams animated different batches of episodes and some gave more of a shit than others.
Man, I miss when 80% of anime were hyper stylized steampunk episodic story driven arthouse projects. The 80s and 90s Spoiled us.
Yogi you should check out samurai 7 it's an anime made by gonzo it's got a similar vibe to outlaw Star except it takes place in feudal Japan
The K pirates chants are so good. I've been saying them in my head for at least 10yrs. Paguwa Son Fa!
No bullshit they had the best chants! They're actually called The Anten 7! They was the best villain groups of this series.
Yo that final Paguwa Son Fa..... Bruh. So much energy behind it... I love it!

This is the tongues of demons.
1:27 PAGUA SONFA! in 2024. Still epic AF. This chant has been an alarm on my phone for years.
Twilight suzuka... wowzers what a woman! One of my favorite Samurai characters!
Suzuka is the coolest.
... after Hilda.
She is, right? She looks and resembles a lot like Faye Valentine from Cowboy Bebop.

This series was cutting edge.
I love the idea of copying your enemy's face & fighting style. This show was so badass. ⭐
Shows how obsessed with her he was.
Actually that is a very good reason to hate someone Hitoriga
Suzuka is still my favorite Wendee Lee role
Twilight Suzuka, the Beautiful Assassin.

That's why the show is so good. They reveal just the right amount but still enough to keep the viewer's Imagination about the world
Not everything needs a build up. That’s why we keep the word surprise in the dictionary
Oh the memories, what would I give to be a kid again. 🥺
You can say that again my friend
Completely understand and feel the same way.
Wish this fight could've been longer, but Damn was it Interesting!
Top 10 anime fights. Love that you get almost no info on this beef other than what's revealed here, which is a lot.
Man, Suzuka and Aisha stole the show with their battles.
PAGUA SONFA!!!
She never did tell him if she loved Gene or not.
I think that answer is hidden in her final attack name, "Crimson". After all, that's the color most associated with Gene.
It was a rhetorical trick. She told him he will nevet know because she will kill him first.
And I think in a way, her feelings for Gene are impossible to define in that manner.

Soooo she never answered his question... even after she killed him.
I said the same thing!!

hitoriga was very interesting
Gangi Films he took Suzuka face
Outlaw star what is thy desire
I remember having an absolutely enormous crush on Suzuka when I was younger.
My nigga Tom a be proud
Hitoriga's voice actor is the same as Exdeath in Final Fantasy Dissidia NT.
Barry Stigler.
Paguwa Son Fa! Paguwa Son Fa! Paguwa Son Fa!
PAGUWA SON FAAAAA!!
Twilight suzuka shows them the light before the darkness. "I See"
You know, as I watch this scene again. I realized that Star Wars stole the crimson technique for kylo ren when he freezes people with the force.
She never did tell him her feelings about Gene.
1:22 - Paguwa Son Fa, Paguwa Son Fa, Paguwa Son Fa, Paguwa Son Fa, PAGUWA SON FA!

New Joel Perez 2001 is better
don't remember cringing this hard at the dialog when I was younger
It was the 90s. Let it go lol
Why are you cringing? It's pretty typical traditional Japanese action dialogue.
@@genemaxwell4 more specifically it's 90s action series dialogue. I mean...everything thrived on cheese back then.
To be honest this dialogue (compared to some other anime that came out during this time period) really is not that bad at all.
@@SaiquanCanty Agreed. Outlaw Star had a really good dub, even by today's standards.
