I was JUST about to pack it up and take it back to Kohls! I tried it and worked like a charm! I mean, how was I supposed to ever figure that out? Thank you for saving me a trip! 😁

Used my finger to the point of throwing the unit out the window. I then used a cotter key to push the inside button,it took a forceful push and something different happened the light came on and it started working fine. Hopefully this will work for you. Use the short end of the cotter key.Looks like an L

Quality Control, Engineers and Communications people at Cuisinart should ALL get lost bonuses at least ...if not Fired! A $200 item and no one from Cuisinart has addressed this!? Really!? Stock holders should demand some changes from CEO down. Such lack of respect for their customer base. Consumers should buy anything but this item you are required to "wiggke" when out of the box. So so frustrating! I say buy Hamilton, Oscar...anything but a Cuisinart from now on ...to send a Strong message!
