Right?? He is IMPOSSIBLY beautiful. And many people have said he was much better looking in person !! No way. A photographer said that he wasn’t photogenic and no picture really did him justice. The first time my youngest daughter who was about 17 at the time saw him on TV she said Mom, I didn't know he was so hot.

Sexy, cool.......just so many things and I see people now trying to say bad things about him and it just pisses me off because I know he was so generous, kind, sweet..,..two of his back up singers said they felt like they had been touched by and angel!!!! I saw him in person in 1972 Chicago , 12th row. When he walked out on the stage , it was surreal , like ‘ is that really him ‘ ? When he opened his mouth to sing “ Never Been To Spain “ , I was blown away . As his former background singer Myrna Smith of the Sweet Inspirations once said, “ you haven’t really heard him til you hear him live “ ! “ once I actually heard him live, I couldn’t take my eyes off him, what a voice “ !

Not an unhealthy reaction! Elvis was one of those rare artists whose spell can be cast across generations, races, and tastes. He IS a gorgeous man. And he's got the Michael Jordan or Tom Brady of voices. It just doesn't date. The fact that it works for you is not an unhealthy obsession on your part, but his success. Don't worry about it! He's awesome!!!
Elvis is about the healthiest addiction I can think of...I've had it for over 50 years...never found a cure & don't want it...lol. Just an FYI...believe this performance was Elvis doing a tribute to Jackie Wilson...it certainly was a fun song. Don't be so hard on yourself...Elvis addiction brings joy to alot of people who live long & normal lives.

I’ve been obsessed with Elvis for over 35 years. I was 3 weeks shy of being 1 when he passed. It makes me mad that I wasn’t old enough to experience his talent while he was here on earth. I’ve been to Graceland 6 times. I’m planning another trip soon. Girl!! ❤️Just enjoy him ❤️ I have a picture hanging on my side of the bed of him.
I was 24 when Elvis went away from us. I'm beginning to cry....... I was, however, blessed and did witness his '68 Comeback Special' in real time. I was 14 years of age. God Loves him even more than we. Bless his eternal soul 🙏🏻 We can know and see him once again. For he Was a God loving, fearing, saved man. Those who are redeemed will see him again but in Glory rather than in this fallen world. God help us all ☦️

Fun Fact!!! Jackie Wilson who was good friends with Elvis is in the audience. That is why Elvis is smiling so much. Jackie and Elvis had been working on the dance moves that Jackie had taught him for this performance in the movie.. So they were sharing some laughs.

There's a reason Elvis and MJ were/are the bench mark for stardom. It's difficult to put your finger on why they were are so huge but it's undeniable X factor!! My 10 year old son keeps on watching if I can Dream from 68 Comeback Special since watching the movie twice with me! He loves Elvis.

He "WAS" a very Beautiful man! I'm not talking about is outside looks, but, his inside! There was a black lady in Memphis, who was born without legs. Elvis heard about her, and bought the most expensive motorized wheelchair, and personally delivered it to her home, and put her in the chair with the help of Sonny West. When he was leaving and walking up to his car, one of his Memphis Mafia friends said; "Elvis, I don't think she knew who you were!" Elvis replied; "It doesn't matter, she knows someone cares!"

Elvis knew how to use a camera. TV was brand new. But the cinema never saw anything like Elvis Presley. No one did. He just created a style that inspired everyone after him. He moved and sang like a man possessed about black and white gospel and church. He was filled with the blues and knew how to jam on guitar and vocally... but the blues didn't have dancing. He \was filled with white Rockabily country music ... but they didn't dance either. Then Elvis just created a style blending all these genres and cultures and came up with a style all his own... dancing and vibing and the passion was crazy and electric. You are either dead or in denial if you can't move to or feel moved by this man's work. Everyone was influenced somehow. Any fan of Elvis and Michael Jackson can see similarities. The way Elvis moved his arms and legs in rhythm to every note. That started with Elvis. Jackie Wilson was the same way and those two loved each other. Michael Jackson clearly was inspired by the stage presence of Elvis Presley and if Elvis had lived into the 80s I believe he would have supported and worked with Michael Jackson.. could you imagine those two on the same team on stage!? :) I think both of their lives would have been better if they fired their personal doctors and managed their careers better. But the fame that those two reached became too dangerous and unhealthy.

Girl, I have been obsessed with Elvis since a young girl. Seeing him on the Big screen was awesome. My mom and I saw all his movies when we lived in New Orleans, really a fun time for me with her! She started liking him also cuz he was good to his mother!

Just started watching your channel and yes watching elvis is very addicting. He gave his heart and soul in any song he sang. You need to hear his gospel music he Won lots of gold records for his gospel music... also if you haven't seen elvis and the black community part 1 and part 2 I recommend you watch it. You'll understand him even more..elvis grew up very very poor living in tupelo ms he lived in a 2 room shack with his parents grew up in the black community . He really was an amazing human being...

I have also purchased several books off of EBay on his life. Have gone to the theater and seen the new Baz Luhrman movie 7 times!!! I'm certifiable!! LOL

I got to see Elvis in concert in 1977, at Tarrant County Convention Center, about 6 mo before he died. My mama cried through the whole concert because he was forgetting words etc But, it was still amazing.

You bring up a great point. A lot of the black community would have been at his shows, from every generation. He just couldn't get away from the claws of Tom Parker -- BUT ONE MORE YEAR and Parker would have been history for good. But to LIVE he would have needed to fire his personal doctor and get himself specialists do address his medical needs. I WOULD HAVE BEEN THERE WATCHING IN CONCERT WITH YA BRANDY!!

Elvis was extremely handsome, and his voice was beautiful! No one has come close to matching his voice. There are some Elvis impersonators out there that are pretty good but not one is exact. I wish he could of handled his success in a way that was more healthy for him.
Although ( I've not been able to locate thus far) there are no films of him singing this song I'm going to mention.. Talk about his cool heat, if you will, LOL, look up "The Power of My Love".. you'll NEVER be the same!
