Just a quick correction: HSR and GO transit don't really use monthly passes anymore, most people have a presto card, even if they don't regularly commute. So I always recommend to buy presto cards even if you're not a frequent transit user.

@@imdanielhale Ok, I think it's still an option to get the traditional paper monthly pass. But most people I know, including myself a few years ago, the presto card was your monthly pass.

been in Hamilton all my 56 years. its gotten to be exstreamly bad here, everywhere you go people begging for money, no good jobs left, tent cities are everywhere. crime is out of control, shootings almost every day, prices are out of control, i would not recomend moving to scamilton but i would recomend moving out of it

Why does it feel like you pay a fortune for a small home and virtually no yard in Canada compared to say MI or PA in the US? You can get like an acre of land and 2k sq ft home for like 200-300k depending on the area in the states
is the japanese restaurent run and owned by honegkong people? :)
property taxes went up %6 2023, going up another %10 in 2024 + new storm water tax, new road repair tax etc. and they are updating everyone house value, which will increase your property tax.
