One of the things I love about this song is when Jack says, "even though we ain't got hats or badges, we're a union just by sayin' so" like dude, literally everyone of you is wearing a hat.

Quaking Shadows in the movie musical this was adapted from not all of them had hats
Time sensitive things, technically what they are wearing are caps, usually worn by lower classes. Hats are typically worn by upper class, and also referencing the union hats common at that time.
He means of power, like the Police or Pulitzer. Watch the show before you talk bud.
it's surprising how many people don't know that the world was the name of the news paper.
I love how "THE WORLD will know" can mean both the New York World and the actual world

Jeremy Jordan just exudes passion throughout this performance, it sucks I couldn't see him as Jack Kelly but I'm sure he knows that Corey is doing him justice as the new Jack Kelly
Maleak Cooper Jeremy's intensity is just crazy. He is the master of the intense stare - whether he's gazing at Katherine like she's the jewel of the world, or glaring at Pulitzer like "you are SO going down." So much awesome
Newsies is underrated
I had been waiting for years for this classic to get on Broadway. I had the pleasure and privilege to see it live, and it was amazing! Thank you everyone who worked towards this beautiful performance!

Just saw this musical last night on Broadway! It was PHENOMENAL!!! I've been involved with theater at my school for years and my dream is to be on broadway and sitting there in the audience of this amazing show made me realize just how badly i want to be up on that stage. One of the best musicals I've seen in a very long time!
Very fortunate I got to the see this very cast a couple weeks ago. An amazing show. If you have any doubts about it because you're attached to the film, don't be scared. It's still good !

saw this at the end of august it was truly incredible! jeremy was incredible! He just finished up his run on the show though. He got married on sep 8! The other performer who stood out most to me was Ryan Steele! He played Specs

I am a theater kid, a dancer, and a book worm. And this helps a lot because with dance I can learn a dance number in 5 minutes, Memorize lines quickly, and I don't bored of reading something millions of times witch helps with reading over songs and lines.
