Newsies songs give me chills too. I think a lot of people get chills because every song is about teens standing up to adults because they weren’t treating them fairly. And the adults treat them like CHILDREN the whole time but these teens stand up for themselves. It’s a really important message that I think only teens have managed to find.
The strange thing about this is back in 1992 I was supposed to Start HighSchool but there was a Teachers Strike going on It might have been weird if the Teachers started dancing like this it wasn't until almost November when the strike ended Wich meant instead of a Full Semester of HighSchool we started late then on the last day before Christmas Vacation we all cleaned out our lockers because In January 1993 we were in our new School They were shutting it down and later remodeled it to be a school with juniorhigh kids instead of a HighSchool
