To me Alexander Gadjiev is the greatest musician so far... and I think,of the whole competition. He understands Chopin's music and touches the real meaning of it,without superficial bravado . His Mazurkas were so heartfelt! And the 2nd Concerto tonight showed again his deep commitment to the true Chopin.
I have not paid much attention to Garcia Garcia's performances in the first three rounds. The way he played seemed to be kinda strange, and not in a good way. But I must say I think he played the best concerto so far (and the F minor, which is less known and less praised than the E minor). Beautiful sound, and so many colors. He is confident and cheerful. I hope he gets a prize.

In Garcia's early rounds he frequently brought a new freshness to pieces we've all heard a million times. I don't agree that this was either strange or bad. Maybe his flamboyant delivery and "singing" is a distraction for some but not for me. This was classy playing culminating in a stunning concerto. The applause that preceded the last chord told a story in itself. Throughout Mr Garcia quickly became an audience favourite. He delivered emotion aplenty and that's what it's about

Po dwóch dniach finałów najbardziej podobał mi się Sorita z Japonii. Najpewniej znajdzie się w top 3. Zobaczymy co będzie dzisiaj, już nie mogę się doczekać.
The performer I want to listen to again and more from today’s round was Garcia! It was undoubtedly one of the best concerto #2 I’ve ever heard. Not only were his sounds so vibrant and magnificent, but also well united with the orchestra. Bui did so amazing and it was so inspiring at his solo performances, I think he just needed a little more experience to reach to his full potential today. I am looking forward to seeing his next performance though! Thanks for choosing Kawaii. Eva and Gadjiv were truly incredible as expected but they didn’t get my mind blown away like Sorita san and Garicia did…
Yes, I agree. I don't even like the second concerto but Garcia played it so well that I was captured by his every note making me like this concerto a lot more.
After two days of final, and having in mind the previous rounds, I would say that my favourite pianists are K. Sorita and Martín García, by now. Tomorrow atencion to Bruce Liu.
@Marie Bourne Experience can get in the way of the competition? Is his efforts wasted? SORITA has been trying or studyinig to do so for many many years. For this time, Chopin competition.
@Marie Bourne then they'll just have to create competitions for 17-year-olds then they'll just have to create competitions for 18-year-olds then they'll just have to create competitions for 19-year-olds then they'll just have to create competitions for 20-year-olds ... then they'll just have to create competitions for 25-year-olds ... then they'll just have to create competitions for 99-year-olds
@Marie Bourne recourse 1: "You have to be an exceptional young pianist to beat the likes of Sorita, etc" recourse 2: "It's not really fair that someone as experienced as Sorita goes up against some very young, new pianists" how do you estimate this facts: - She has received awards at more than 40 international competitions for young pianists - Under the baton of such conductors as Valery Gergiev, Alexander Sladkovsky, Lawrence Foster, Vasily Petrenko and Gerhardt Zimmermann - she has played in prestigious concert halls in Russia, Europe and the US. I am sure you will find the source from which I quoted. Consider that each competition formulates certain conditions of participation. These may well differ. As far as I can survey - and my foresight is rudimentary - each contest has an age range of about one decennium, especially if it is held at intervals of several years. Here I am NOT talking about junior competitions!
The sound nature of Kawai was an important reason to hit JJ and Gadjive today, IMHO. Hope juries would discount that somewhat. Martin is much better than I expected but for E minor piece I still see Sorita as the best so far.
17:49 Concerto in E minor, Op. 11 - J J JUN LI BUI (Canada) 1:03:17 Concerto in F minor, Op. 21 - ALEXANDER GADJIEV (Italy, Slovenia) 1:39:11 Chopin Talk 2:07:17 Concerto in F minor, Op. 21 - MARTÍN GARCÍA GARCÍA (Spain) 2:52:21 Concerto in E minor, Op. 11 - EVA GEVORGYAN (Russia, Armenia)
БРАВО!!! Alexand Gadjiev, bravo! Thank you for your sincerity and mastery in delivering it, for being so true to yourself and to Chopin! The way you play his music is so AUTHENTIC, full of meaning, heartwarming and so ALIVE in every phrase, in every sound! I can't even express how I appreciate it! Thank you for the nobility and youthfulness you've translated in this concerto! It's a pure joy!!! The world needs more artists who's hearts are as poetic, generous and free as yours! God bless!!! Cheering for you from Saint-Petersburg, Russia
First, all competitors gave tonigth some really remarquable performances. Bravo. M JJ Jun Li Bui gave a very good performance, with a nice musicality and a fluid playing. He had anyway some difficulties of speed control on the most demanding moments. Globally a fine and standard interpretation. M Alexander Gadjev gave a sublime performance that marry intimate moments and a great virtuosity. His sound was deep, singing and balanced. His phasing was 1st class. He has some little issues with dynamics during the 2nd movements. Globally a really great moment of music. M Martin Garcia Garcia, gave a very clear, powerfull and entousiastic performance. His sound is equality brigth from begin to end, which is good : he is brillant virtuoso, and as counter effect, he lack of deepness and nuances. A great shinny performance, full of happyness. Mme Eva Gevorgian gave a very clear performance. She demonstrated a delicate sound but in fast section, she had some phrasing inconsistancies. At the opposite, In the slower sections, she played with a great musically. Globally a very good performance. As a personnal note, my favorite today is M Gadjev that succeed to illustrate the two aspects of Chopin music : a mix of pure virtuosity and intimate moments, a set of delicate phrasing and stronger sections. Bravo
Complete devotion and pleasure from making music to the super talented Eva! The finale of Concert 1 by Chopin is unforgettable! Exciting in all aspects!
Martin Garcia, thank you for all the music you shared today, what an amazing gift for posterity, beautiful beautiful beautiful, full of poetry, full of music and love. Thank you, wish you the best, thank you.
Many members of the jury applauded after Martin's performance. Is that a sign? Remember the reaction of the jury at Tchaikovsky competition after Concerto No.2 played by winner A. Kantorow.😉Martin was the highlight of the day, in my opinion. What a great performance of Concerto No.2! Next up, Aimi's Concerto No.1.
Man Martin Garcia came out of nowhere. I found his performance from the other stages kind of lackluster and did not expect him to reach it to the finals, but here he is at the finals playing brilliantly even though there are couple of wrong notes and so much singing to a point that I thought the original piece had lyrics.
Gadjiev is not afraid of playing f when needed. Garcia^2, on the other hand, has a beautiful p sound, which is incredible considering the dimensions of his hands.
I know that people are enthusiastic about performances and want to praise them but announcing a winner before listening the performances of two game changer (Aimi and Bruce) don’t mean much… If those two play with their full potential, they will directly change the first 3 probably so tomorrow will be worthy of the name of The Grand Finale!
Haha, I agree with this too. The thing is, Martin has been so extraordinary, it's easy to get excited. I think Martin is going to win, but you are absolutely right, let's listen to the others. And tomorrow there are some very interesting pianists. Bruce is the one I like the most of those who have not yet played.
Sorita and Garcia were certainly impressive today. Still, the one weakness of the Chopin Competition is that the culminating event are supposed to be his two concerti. By any measure, however, they are not his best compositions. Inevitably, I find myself going back to the second and third round, to the scherzi, mazurkas, sonatas, polonaises, and ballads, all of which strike me as offering far more musical "substance" than the relatively placid concerti. Chopin obviously never explored the orchestra with the same depth and rigor as he did the piano. The large symphonic form just isn't where his greatness as a composer is found. -- My hope is that the winner will be decided by the cumulative score of the performers throughout this competition, and not just how well they did in the final round. I was quite disappointed that Sumino and Khozyainov were not advanced.
I agree with your point that the concerti does not have as much musical 'substance' as the other more refined pieces. However, it's fair to say that those who got to the final were evaluated on those ballades, etudes, scherzi, polonaises...etc. I'm sure it will come down to a overall culmination of all rounds, the final is there to observe the ability of the pianist in playing with an orchestra which is notoriously difficult and requires good chemistry between the two parties. It would be nice to have a behind the scene documentary on how they evaluate competitors because there are just so many talented pianists this year.
Agreed. The final round of the Chopin Competition has always seemed more like a formality than an actual competition--it's not these concerti aren't great works, but still, it's difficult to believe these final rounds have any true bearing on the official result. One possible solution--I believe the Chopin Competition should just pick 3 finalists, honestly. Then we can really hear three meaningful concerto performances that help us truly decide who is the best.
All great and meaningful piano competitions require a round with orchestra where the skills are in demand that you can't show as a soloist. Competitors have little time available for rehearsal with orchestra, so they must demonstrate their communication skills on stage. I could observe significant differences in the first two final rounds. Because it is a CHOPIN COMPETITION, the choices of piano concertos are very limited.
pianists play alone and with orchestra, it's part of the job (and yes, also with other instruments or voice..). Despite to the opinion about the concerts, this is an additional test that completes the competition. And the Jury in the last day can decide by also considering the previous stages, its members are not so stupid :)
Garcia has the same relaxed hands that Sorita has, and so also plays each passage with precision, dynamic, and grace. Moves between the left and the right hand without losing the inner voicings that make Chopin concertos so nuanced and beautiful. Not hurried, which happens when the hands get tired. For me right now it is a tie between Garcia and Sorita. Maybe Garcia has a very slight edge.
The difference is Sorita was better than Martin in the following... The Etudes, the Ballades, the Nocturnes, the Mazurkas, the Scherzo, and the Sonatas!
@@hatchegg80 If you mean he plays with his fingers a little more straight than a relaxed curve, I agree, I did see some of that a few times. But remarkably, the tension you might find from that technique didn't translate to the tone. His quiet and quick passages in the upper register still came through with nuance and beauty, traits of a relaxed hand. And his left hand work was clean, not muddy. Having that relaxed hand is key to a command performance, consitent from beginning to end.
@@stephenboyd3656 its more about movement separation. For example, hyuk Lee is great on this, some like xie and Garcia are more "handy", not the tone per se but it translates into chunky notes. One guy calls it detachee. In the long run, having economical movements improve consistency
I commented on Eva below but I also enjoyed the soulful performances of JJJun, Alex and Martin. Each has his own sparkles and charms. What I loved about Martin was that he was enjoying the piece and trying to deliver his passion to the audience. Such inclusiveness seems to show his kind nature.
Eva Jan we are extremely proud to see such a beautiful soul shining like a amazing star 🌟. All your hard work and dedication is shining through ✨✨✨✨ thank you 🙏
Omg, Alexander Gadžiev, zmagali boste, you shall win! This was a fantastic performance, full of passion, great tone and devotion, bravo, better than anyone else.
I'm so impressed with Eva's poise and grace (not to mention her artistry) under enormous pressure. Regardless of the final results, she has made such an impression and will be a major force in any competition she enters (still only 17!!! We're talking a decade or more of eligibility for competitions).
@Marie Bourne Maybe that's true, but Eva has already been playing quite a bit of concerti in the past. You don't just make it to the finals of the Chopin competition with no concerto experience whatsoever.
I actually think the competition should narrow its parameters to draw mostly great young talent on the cusp for whom the money, opportunities and opening of doors would be a real help. Young brilliant artists who really benefit from these introductions. The already seasoned professionals with careers may have the poise and sophistication but maybe they are at the ceiling of their potential and the benefits of the prize will never make them the kind of world class pianist they want to be
Colorful performance.Every note has a meaning.Beautiful rendition of richness of Chopin music.Congratulation on overall performance during competition.Thank you Eva
Gadjiev was Ill-served by the Kawai. Despite his very fine and finished technique the performance all through had a feeling that it should have been better. This was confirmed when Garcia played. Although he does not have the technical equipment equal to Gadjev, his performance in every way was more delightful. He gets the best sound out of the Fazioli of any one who elected that piano. Gevorgyan gave her warmest performance in the competition. I like a more terraced sound but her cantabile was lovely
Kawai suits Gadjiev when doing solo. However for working with the orchestra, the sound doesn’t blend in and makes the mistouch more obvious. Gadjiev’s performance is still solid and good but Garcia Garcia’s is more impressive.
The Kawai seems to have a round and intimate sound, which was quite nice for solo piano works. But if he was playing the concerto, he was probably compensating by playing out more
Eva and Sorita gave two brilliant, matchless performances. Both performances were so extraordinary and the music of Chopin came to the full measure of its genius. It was purely Chopin gifted to us by two brilliant musicians.
For me, all rounds included, ,for now and before the last 4 contestants : 1. Sorita and Gevorgyan 3. Garcia 4. JJ 5. Gadjiev 6. Pacholec 7. Hao Rao 8. Armellini.
Well. Eva gave us Essential Chopin tonight. Garcia was clear and in control and did bring out the best sound from the Fazioli. The Steinways are clearly the stars of this competition; 479 with more bold color and 300 with great warmth. A.G.- too many mistakes and the piano didn't work, JJ- . . .
Ms Gevorgyan played the best op. 11 so far in this Finale imho. Beautiful dynamic, tone and rhythm. Passionate and tasteful which is a difficult combination but she passed with flying colors.
2:14:35-2:14:45 Only Chopin can write something this beautiful. Such a wonderful concerto. It should be chosen more often by the finalists. And Mártin García García plays it with a big heart. Admit it everybody, you loved his performance. The audience sure did. And I did, too.🎹❤️
Aww, so happy for Martin Garcia x2. One minute you are the most hated candidate because you kicked out people's favourites, the next minute you are the darling of the competition. As they said, you are only as good (or as bad) as your last performance.
Miss Eva Gevorgyan is the best pianist in this competition. This concert was amazing! She's a fenomenal musician and pianist. The orchestra was also very good! So, we are waiting for the prize!
@@HA-ll9pk I am not professional or any special artist but if I can make a comment, Mr Sorita and Ms Kobayashi are perfect and clean sounds but Gadjiev’s piano is different ( can’t describe what it is) from others. When I heard his Ballad first time at the first round, I cannot explain my feelings but I am now very fascinated by his piano world.
Beautifully played Eva! Specially this last movement. A big hug from somenone that could be your grandfather and have heard this concert millions of times, mostly not this well.
Tonight's star was undoubtedly Martin Garcia Garcia, who was simply amazing. He quite stunned me as in the previous rounds I was not super impressed by him - very musical approach but somewhat sloppy and maybe too exaggerated. But in the f minor concerto he absolutely shined, this has to take him high on the podium. Gevorgyan gave a solid performance of the e minor concerto, though I overall I still have some reservations about her. As expected she's technically superb, but somehow I find it hard to feel moved by her playing. In the previous round I actually really disliked her playing (esp. of the mazurkas and her sonata), which I felt were way too heavy and harsh. But today she did a much better job. Could end up close to or just on the podium. I was quite disappointed by Gadjiev, whom I liked a lot in the previous round, but I felt like he let it down quite a bit with this concerto. It could also be partly due to the Kawai, which I generally like but perhaps not so much for the f minor concerto. Also there were quite a large number of mistakes, so I'd say Gadjiev is unfortunately out for a high prize. I didn't listen to all of Bui's playing, but felt it was overall a good performance though with some issues. Probably not a high prize but might just reach the podium.
Fully agree. Tonight's star was definitely Garcia Garcia. The best performance so far in the finals followed by Sorita of Japan. Looking forward to Kobayashi and Bruce Liu tomorrow.
@@vripiatbuzoi9188 I totally agreed with you regarding the pianos. However I would love to listen Lee Huck’s performance as I didn’t feel that way when he played it… maybe his key attack is different and it could produce fuller and more powerful sounds although shigeru Kawai will be never bright like Fazioli.
Eric Lu (17th Chopin Competition Laureate) said the quality of the piano concertos coming from the young Chopin is "freshness." That immediately brings back Hao Rao's performance yesterday. He is so young but his playing is impeccable, joyful and fresh. The whole orchestra seems very fond of him at the end of the concerto. Whatever happens at this competition he will enjoy a beautiful musical career.
I really agree with you. Hao Rao's music really radiates with youthfulness and freshness and he is able to give youthfulness back to Chopin's music, which is the best magic spell. Another thing besides his natural musicality he is enormously well trained (fingers, body usage) so he will be well capable with other variety of composers, too . I look forward into his future. He will bloom so much.

You are phenomenally gifted very young person and have great musical career ahead of you ! May God Bless you and protect you ! All your performances from the preliminary audition to the final concert made me deeply moved and very happy !
You are our Angel of Music !
Ewa Gevorgyan - Thank You!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love your performance!!! ❤️
ガルシアガルシアさんの音がすごく好き
What a wonderful thing!
The performance of MARTÍNG ARCÍA GARCÍA is very good.
💕💕💕
Po dwóch dniach finałów najbardziej podobał mi się Sorita z Japonii. Najpewniej znajdzie się w top 3. Zobaczymy co będzie dzisiaj, już nie mogę się doczekać.
I agree.
Martin Garcia 🎶❤️ unique
Finally Gadijev ❤️Carcia played my favourite concerto No.2 🥺👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I keep thinking of the orquestra and the judges , the same concerto , again and again and again.........
After two days of final, and having in mind the previous rounds, I would say that my favourite pianists are K. Sorita and Martín García, by now.
Tomorrow atencion to Bruce Liu.
Korita looks old. But he’s just 27.
@Marie Bourne
Experience can get in the way of the competition?
Is his efforts wasted?
SORITA has been trying or studyinig to do so for many many years. For this time, Chopin competition.
Es un grande Martín

recourse 1: "You have to be an exceptional young pianist to beat the likes of Sorita, etc"
recourse 2: "It's not really fair that someone as experienced as Sorita goes up against some very young, new pianists"
how do you estimate this facts:
- She has received awards at more than 40 international competitions for young pianists
- Under the baton of such conductors as Valery Gergiev, Alexander Sladkovsky, Lawrence Foster, Vasily Petrenko and Gerhardt Zimmermann
- she has played in prestigious concert halls in Russia, Europe and the US.
Interview of Eric Lu is very impressive. I can understand how he felt at the last Chopin competition. Wishing him a beautiful future!
Martin Garcia Garcia was clearly the winner on this day!
the bunch of comments confirms your estimation
The sound nature of Kawai was an important reason to hit JJ and Gadjive today, IMHO. Hope juries would discount that somewhat. Martin is much better than I expected but for E minor piece I still see Sorita as the best so far.
17:49 Concerto in E minor, Op. 11 - J J JUN LI BUI (Canada)
1:03:17 Concerto in F minor, Op. 21 - ALEXANDER GADJIEV (Italy, Slovenia)

2:07:17 Concerto in F minor, Op. 21 - MARTÍN GARCÍA GARCÍA (Spain)
2:52:21 Concerto in E minor, Op. 11 - EVA GEVORGYAN (Russia, Armenia)
Thanks❤️
Thanks! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Bravo
Love Eric Lu's interview!
I love Eva. She is very special indeed. If Chopin was listening, he would be overjoyed!
Me too:)
Ah non sûrement pas !!!!
Martin Garcia Garcia has melted my icy heart. ❤
The world doesn't need a champion.We need a master.
Thank you for the wonderful performance♬
In particular,Garcia❣️
I was so moved that my eyes were filled with tears.
He is exciting.
Blabo👏
Herzliches Lob und Dank an Herr García!
Mein Herz war voller Freude✨
Man Martin Garcia came out of nowhere. I found his performance from the other stages kind of lackluster and did not expect him to reach it to the finals, but here he is at the finals playing brilliantly even though there are couple of wrong notes and so much singing to a point that I thought the original piece had lyrics.
Gadjiev is not afraid of playing f when needed. Garcia^2, on the other hand, has a beautiful p sound, which is incredible considering the dimensions of his hands.
Thank you JJ, Alexander, Martin and Eva for bringing a night filled with the two beautiful concertos.
Martín cada vez consigue asombrarme más, increíble. Ojalá ganes, te deseo todo lo mejor, no se puede pedir un representante español mejor 😁😁🇪🇦🇪🇦🎹🎹
It's Eva, every time.. the most memorable among all of them, simply unmatched on stage, call it - presence..#goEva❤❤❤
Miss Eva felicitaciones por su empeño y determinación. Le felicitamos un brillante porvenir como el de Clara Schumann🌹🌹💐 María y Giuseppe
Mr. Martin, you were incredible today 💞🎉
JJ’s 2nd movement is so touching! 😍😍😍
Lieber Gadijiev, die Weise und Art wie du spielst, gefällt mir gut. Mit vielen Grüßen aus Tokyo, von deiner Yoko. Toll!☺👏
I agree.
The last group are among the favorites.
That is true we have yet to see the rest of the contestants, as each and every one of them is great 👍
Martin will NOT win. Or there will be an outrage among many many Chopin enthusiasts.
But no worries, he’s no where near the top contenders.
Cheers!
unless aimi does something completely silly, she will almost definitely be top 3
BRAVO 👏 Martin Garcia Garcia
He really brought a new level this time and played the concerto perfectly.
MARTÍN GARCÍA GARCÍA!! Very very original! I liked it veeeery much! Kudos!!! Thanks for this outstanding performance!
Eva made it with brillance ..the third part was pure joy of piano playing. Can t wait to hear Aimi s answer 😘😘😘
Very different, sorita is textbook correct, the fingers move, the wrist not so much, garcia slaps his fingers down, I really dislike that
The difference is Sorita was better than Martin in the following...
The Etudes, the Ballades, the Nocturnes, the Mazurkas, the Scherzo, and the Sonatas!
@@trifonovfan9819 True that...
All your hard work and dedication is shining through ✨✨✨✨ thank you 🙏
Chopin to najpiękniejsza spuścizna dla ludzkości.
The already seasoned professionals with careers may have the poise and sophistication but maybe they are at the ceiling of their potential and the benefits of the prize will never make them the kind of world class pianist they want to be
@Marie Bourne every major piano competition has an orchestra round
Martin Garcia Garcia! AMAZING 👏 Ideal style of piano performance...bright yet subtly deep...very enjoyable to listen to.
Garcia is great!!!exciting,exciting,exciting.......
Garcia Garcia and Gadjiev, AMAZING!
Colorful performance.Every note has a meaning.Beautiful rendition of richness of Chopin music.Congratulation on overall performance during competition.Thank you Eva
So happy to have Eric Lu here in chopin talk. Such a wonderful artist.😍💜💙
I like his openness during the interview. A humble winning personality.
I agree that Garcia is not the best technically but he did a great job today
The Kawai is just awful compared to the Fazioli and Steinway. It sounds very harsh and has a limited dynamic range.
Kawai suits Gadjiev when doing solo. However for working with the orchestra, the sound doesn’t blend in and makes the mistouch more obvious. Gadjiev’s performance is still solid and good but Garcia Garcia’s is more impressive.
@@Lilly-kg6dh I agree. Saw his 3rd round performance which was magnificent. I hope he wins a prize since he's a wonderful and clever artist.
The Kawai seems to have a round and intimate sound, which was quite nice for solo piano works. But if he was playing the concerto, he was probably compensating by playing out more
MARTÍN GARCÍA is really good!
feels like watching real anime in this competition. It's amazing
Garcia Garcia!!!!!
Eva and Sorita gave two brilliant, matchless performances. Both performances were so extraordinary and the music of Chopin came to the full measure of its genius. It was purely Chopin gifted to us by two brilliant musicians.
García García has to win the concerto prize!
Garcia was unbelievable! 🥰🥰🥰
For me, all rounds included, ,for now and before the last 4 contestants : 1. Sorita and Gevorgyan 3. Garcia 4. JJ 5. Gadjiev 6. Pacholec 7. Hao Rao 8. Armellini.
I agree with your first choice. But I wouldn’t put anyone else above Rao..
I think it's fairly ridiculous to rank pacholec ahead of the other two, JJ should be close to bottom eva probably in the somewhere in the upper middle
Gevorgyan tied with Sorita, really?
Hao Rao was fantastic!
you forgot Bruce ...and that could be big mistake
Well. Eva gave us Essential Chopin tonight. Garcia was clear and in control and did bring out the best sound from the Fazioli. The Steinways are clearly the stars of this competition; 479 with more bold color and 300 with great warmth. A.G.- too many mistakes and the piano didn't work, JJ- . . .
I can say that Garcia enjoy his performance most from his emotion
Chopin is magic
I found Garcia was great 😊 Who too?
Me too!
Since you asked, no.
@@tonytony8747 are you asian ?

I found Eva as good, both sensational
You need to give to Martin. He really knows how to get the absolute best sound of the Fazioli grand piano.
Indeed. I saw him at a piano store months before the competition, coming to practice on their Fazioli grand. He's been preparing for a long time.
Beautiful performance
He definitely. took its angular tone down. He knew how to handle it to best advantage
Mr Gadjiev's Larghetto was beautiful and refreshing, great phrasing and full of suspense. 🙏
Beautifully said!
And I did, too.🎹❤️
GARCIA GARCIA!! YES!!
Congratulations, dear Eva!XXX Bravissimo! Stunning performance!
BravissimA. Non bravissimo
Gadjiev!! Bravo
Just impressed
Nothing else I could say!!
@@HA-ll9pk
I am not professional or any special artist
but if I can make a comment,
Mr Sorita and Ms Kobayashi are perfect
and clean sounds but Gadjiev’s
piano is different ( can’t describe what it is)
from others.
When I heard his Ballad first time at the first round, I cannot explain my feelings but I am now very fascinated by his piano world.
He didn't play well in this
@@HA-ll9pk I didn't like Garcia's piece, too ostentatious, tonight was probably the weakest of the finals, I think eva was best tonight overall
Beautifully played Eva! Specially this last movement. A big hug from somenone that could be your grandfather and have heard this concert millions of times, mostly not this well.
Martin Garcia Garcia, your performance was an exceptional!
I was drowned into your world.
There is amazing interview with Eric Liu, the finalist from 2015! Very refined, great pianist.
Probably not a high prize but might just reach the podium.
i agree, garcia really upped his game today, well done to him, good selection of piano too for this
Wow you are writing as though you were reading my thoughts! I agree in almost every single aspect!
Yep, the Fazioli has better presence with the orchestra. The Kawai sounded too muted.
I don't see how anyone can beat Garcia Garcia after that performance.
October 20th / the final round 3, which has just started, has a top-class line-up, exciting
