Better than Horowitz? Don't make me laugh. Horowitz is a world-renowned master of the piano and a pioneer in his craft, while Liu has only recently earned his fame as a winner of the Chopin competition. Bruce doesn't even come close to the level of Horowitz, let alone other pianists who've achieved much less! Also, this is not about their legacy; it's about the quality of their playing, and in that regard, It's clear that Horowitz is a winner.

Absolutely stunning performance!!! He did it so effortlessly with poise, be it crystal clear singing tone, the nuance of bounce, touch or run, brilliant executions of the smallest detail just take your breath away!!! Even the encore waltz was with a brush of fresh air!! Bravo, bravo!!!
No doubt, he definitely deserves the first prize, many competitor have highly technical but a few have the right understanding and can show their own feeling by the touches on keys. (i personally really love this part 18:52-20:16)
