Imagine being the naval commander trying to explain to HQ how you were unable to make a naval invasion to suppress a rebellion because there was one dude in a tugboat sitting there flipping you off.
For a period where the world was closest to being controlled by one nation, world conquest in this game seems incredibly painful - seemingly more so than CK3, where the prospect is significantly less realistic.
I mean, the UK was powerful, but it was nowhere near controlling the world- their power relied on diplomacy, with an understanding that if diplomacy failed, the UK's power could reasonably collapse entirely. Genghis Khan was also not that close to controlling the world though, just most of the stuff that mattered in terms of trade- same as the UK.
@@majordolmann2767 Yeah they were nowhere near controlling the world. That said, in terms of realism of the prospects administration of the entire world and connection of a vast empire with communications and railways would make it potentially possible to administer central control over potentially the world.

CK3 is the time of the Mongol conquest and right after Charlemagne. World conquest is definitely on the cards.

Laith asking why out of his absolutely immense army there are only five men fighting against 2, it just makes me imagine that as the army is advancing there's a group of soldiers held up playing poker with the natives that to make their officers get off their back they fire their guns occasionally and say they are held down fighting. The generals are held up encircling the imaginary force while the boys try and win back the three quid he's lost so far to the crafty native

Hey Laith! The issue you have with the buildings not being worked isn't a qualifications issue; it's a pop shortage issue. The "Jobseekers" tag is misleading. Those pops are ALREADY EMPLOYED, but seeking better pay elsewhere. You need to change the filter to show unemployed or peasants and build in those states instead.
You have a decision to federate Australia and confederate Canada as Britain. The AI isn't doing it because you as the player have that option. You don't need to tag switch

You can give states to your subjects. After you conquer you just trade state with them

I made it to 1930 then it crashed 😂
I started a give-no-Fs GB run and just ignored trade routes (the most micro demanding insanity inducer) and for half a century the game performed great. Then I set up trade routes and performance seppukued.
i wish Vic 3 were better optimized. Post 1900 i just get such crazy slow downs, really keeps me from trying it more inspite of what ways it has improved with 1.5 etc

Or you can try the hardest bannerlord challenge the Tamerlane challenge start off with nothing and you're in prison hostile to everyone in your only allowed to recruit Bandits

When you play as GB the Australian/Canadian subjects won't confederate themselves, you have to do it yourself through your own journal (its a decision that just requires good relations)
