I've lived in Kuhl Radikls for over 12 months now (2 pairs in rotation) Super comfy. I've a pair of Law jeans too which are excellent and a few of their jackets. Great brand and products
I bought a pair of free riders, and they were my first pair of KUHL's. I love them, but I've since found it very difficult to find a comparison between all their pants. I'm definitely going to have to check out the pants you detail in the video! Great job!
Thanks for the comment! I wrote a KÜHL pants buying guide several months ago that goes into more detail about their various options. Basically, the biggest difference between them is the fabric they use. Some are really thin and stretchy, and others are really thick canvas-type materials. Here's a link for that guide: thewarriorsolution.com/the-ultimate-kuhl-pants-buying-guide/
I went to the REI and tried one of Kuhl pants. I was shocked that how something that is durable, comfortable, and look stylish at the same time. Everything you talked about in this video is true about this pant. I bought the Kuhl Renegade Recon pant.
Fantastic review. Exactly what I was looking for. At 5:33 ....the moment I realized where you were "aiming" .... I instantly became a subscriber lol You have a great channel and I can't wait to see more content.
Thanks for the review. I picked up a pair of these while out of town at an REI and have been super impressed with the quality (sadly that store does not exist in my town or anywhere near me). There were so many variants in the store I wasn't sure which would be best. I ended up with the konfidents but would love to know about the others are in action as well
Glad I could help! I'm planning on doing several more videos on most of Kuhl's products, as well as a kind of mash up of everything in one video comparing material, waterproofing, sound, stretch, fit, etc. The good news is that you can't really go wrong with any Kuhl pants, it just depends on what you'd like to be doing with them. My top three favorites at the moment are the Free Radikl, Revolver Rogue, and Konfidant Air. The main difference between the Revolver and Konfidant Air is that Konfidant has several air vents just below the crotch, behind the knees, and two side zip thigh pockets to allow tons of air flow. The fit and feel between the two is very similar since they are made from very similar fabric, so the wear characteristics are also similar other than the extra air vents in the Konfidant Air. Their "Law" series is basically heavy duty canvas material for tons of abrasion resistance and protection for your legs. Think blacksmithing, machine shop work, welding, and things like that where you need some protection down under. They would suck for climbing or hiking though. If you need something for heavy rain or snow, my go-to is their Klash pant. The material for those is VERY water resistant and they have zips on the ankles that go pretty high up so you can easily fit them over ski boots. I've worn Klash pants in hurricanes as well as downhill skiing in the PNW for the last several years.
These Pants are good I’m a high rise window cleaner and I’m rubbing against concrete brick and hot metal. But mine ripped a pole I had on my harness went thru em as I descended to the ground lol
That intro is sweet 😁 I'm looking for some cold weather pants and I have my eyes on Kuhl, Brunt, and Truewerk. However Truewerk is out of stock for their T3 pants so I gotta find something else. Excellent review too!
Thanks for the comment! I haven't personally worn any Brunt or Truewerk, but KÜHL's "HOT RYDR" is a good option for cold weather work pants. They have a flannel liner. :) thewarriorsolution.com/go/kuhl/hot_rydr
The pants from this video are 34-32. I typically wear between 32 and 34 waist depending on if I'm concealed carrying or not. Kuhl is pretty good about true to size, so if you have a size you normally wear, you should be able to order the same size from Kuhl without any concerns.
Not a hole in sight! I wear KÜHL pant every day and the RADIKL pants featured in this video are still going strong without any tears or issues anywhere on them. :)
Hey Thomas! The Radikl pants from the video, Revolver pants, and a few others are all basically made from the same material. It isn't too noisy at all, and isn't something I've noticed. The Kuhl Silencer pants, on the other hand, do make a pretty significant "swish" sound. It's pretty ironic when you think about the name, but that's something I immediately noticed. I also have an old pair of Arc'Teryx something or others from around 2011, and they swish like crazy! The Kuhl Silencer pants aren't THAT bad, they are just louder than the Radikl, for example. If you read the descriptions and find anything about a "water resistant finish", it's more likely to make some noise than something that isn't water resistant. On a different note, I recently got a pair of their jeans and they are pretty awesome too. I stopped wearing jeans years ago because they were too thick, didn't breathe, and didn't stretch. Kuhl solved all of those complaints, and they also have the best cell phone pocket known to man. :) Hope that helps!
I actually encountered the exact problem you were talking about the other day. The KÜHL pants I wear the most (Radikl and Revolvr) both have a secondary flap and traditional button behind the snap that keeps everything in place. The other day, I was wearing a pair of Convertible pants that didn't have that flap and my snap opened several times while I was doing some lifting and general house maintenance.
I was looking for a new pair of hiking pants these seemed to fit the bill (looking for durability, stretch, and heat management) but then I saw 68% cotton. In hot or wet conditions that is gonna be no bueno ( i wear 35% cotton 5.11 right now, extremely hot). I ended up going with Kuhl still but their Renegade pants (nylon/spandex blend).
I'm a fan of the Renegade ones too. I really like all of Kuhl's pants (and shorts) and plan to do additional videos to show the differences sooner than later.
Actually, cotton is the coolest and most breathable material you can wear in hot weather. It is probably the synthetic materials that are making you hot.
Sorry about that, KÜHL decided to end their affiliate program and I haven't changed the links yet. I still stand behind every word, even though they are no longer paying any commission on sales. Just visit kuhl.com and order away.
I am 5'10" and typically wear a 34x32 to allow for concealed carrying my handgun. KÜHL sizing is pretty much like any other brand so you shouldn't have any issues.
Hello! I don't speak French, but hopefully, Google Translate will help. What's your question? Bonjour! Je ne parle pas français, mais j'espère que Google Translate vous aidera. Quelle est votre question?
Nice review! I’m an older man 50. One thing you didn’t mention was how great their sizing is! I love Kuhl pant because they fit perfectly! Their stretch jeans are the same way. I’m a 36w 30L, that fat guy size, and Kuhl gets it right every time! Make my ass look great too!😊
My experience with the kuhl pants is, they are junk, the sizing is not right or consistent, after about 3 washing they have all started to fall apart, save yourself the 100+ and buy something different, like rail riders.
By far the most thorough review on KUHL pants.

Shhhhhhh, these aren't the droids you're looking for. ;) Thanks man.
Genuine question, are these Kuhl pants still your favorite?
I know it sounds like he’s geeking out on these pants but trust me these pants really are that good.
Still a geek though. :D
Great pants and company but sizes Inseam 29 not available i hope in future make it.
Kuhl is the real deal
Large magazine?
What colour were those pants?
I have some and they are nice i also recommend Duluth's. Duluth's are very flexible and durable.
Your video is great, maybe you can learn about Gash Hao, a brand of outdoor hiking pants!

“Crotchel area” is my favorite set of words.
Just wait until you read the written version. :D haha
At 5:33 what do u put in a the pocket ?
That pocket fits a super high capacity death star evil 30-round AR15 magazine very nicely.

Hey. I did not know if I missed it in this video, but what sized pants are these and what size are you? I just wanna make sure I buy the right size.

How's the stretchy nylon/spandex fabric holding up? Any holes in it?
Not a hole in sight! I wear KÜHL pant every day and the RADIKL pants featured in this video are still going strong without any tears or issues anywhere on them. :)
@@TheWarriorSolution Thanks! I ordered a pair.

The closure snap is poor. I’ve several pairs of Kuhl pants and this poor snap design pops open when pressure is applied like when you are bending over

Every link i click on to order pants say " we no longer support this product" wth?

Great review .
Thank you! Cheers!
Do they run true to size?
Yep, I've never had any sizing issues.
2 cylindrical tubes, coming out of another tube, disguised as another tube?
Hey,I assume in Kuhl your size is 32x32, Can I ask your height??
I am 5'10" and typically wear a 34x32 to allow for concealed carrying my handgun. KÜHL sizing is pretty much like any other brand so you shouldn't have any issues.

?????
I’ll often wear a diaper in case I have a blowout but these pants don’t have to worry about it
Have you ever tried their transgender pants? They just make it so difficult to compare all the many pants that they manufacture.

Did you order them off Temu? I've been wearing the same pair of KÜHL pants for a decade without any issues.
That rat tq is going to get you or someone else killed bud
