**CORRECTION** 13:11 Balance equation: Zn + 2HCl ~ ZnCl2 + H2 22:22 Only 2 hydrogen atoms instead of 3 on the carbon at the most left (one carbon always join with only 4 single bonds) 😅😅😅
Don't be afraid to comment if there's any doubts or questions. 😉🤙 Can also let me know which papers you wish have a detailed explanation 😊😊 Thank you!!!
Me too, do you know why while making the electron arrangement in the first question we are looking at the proton numbers and not the electron numbers??
Because atoms have same number of proton and electron. We dont look at electron number because it might be ions. Ions do not have same number of proton and electron
To be safe, always mention the initial and final colour. Whereas for bromine water, it is always orange in colour. For iodine water, it is brown colour.
@@MrKhing Hi, how to do question 4(f)? I did not understand why the answer are zinc oxide, zinc hydroxide and zinc carbonate only. Why not other compounds like zinc nitrate

For question 3(a)(iv) can we write iron beads or will we lose marks?
@@sergeing Acceptable, as long as you mentioned 'iron' 😊
@@MrKhing Sir what topics will most likely come for tomorrow’s paper 42 exam based on march 2021 paper 42 questions?

@MrKhing in 28:15 can we draw the CH3 branch directly below the one of the carbons that is double bonded or does it have to be to the side
U really helped me bro , luv from india ❤️❤️
Happy to hear that!
this is really helpful for me...... thanks a lot for the detailed explanation
Glad it was helpful!

in question 2 part ci can I say because of their continuous random motion or you prefer saying constant random motion?
Acceptable also ya ☺️

in 20:36 can't i say it changes from reddish brown to colourless ..or decolourized?
To be safe, always mention the initial and final colour. Whereas for bromine water, it is always orange in colour. For iodine water, it is brown colour.
On 20:01 .. it is 2NaOH why did you not multiply 2 with the Mr of NaOH ? I hope you got my question thank you.
ig becus in mole calculations we don't multiply by the coefficient
@@7alamohammad819 you are right! 👍
The mole ratio will affect only the number of moles ya

For question 3(a)(vi) can we say the number of collisions per unit time increases instead of the rate of collision increases?
Yes 😊
2:55 can't it be letter A?
Hydrogen is not in Group 1. Hydrogen doesnt belong to any group. 😊

I didn't understand Q 4 g, can't zinc hydroxide also form because of the reaction with hydrogen?
Only Group 1 and 2 metals react with water to form metal hydroxide and hydrogen ya ☺️
sir i have a question ,in question 4 ,h)ii) ,last question. Shouldnt you multiply the Mr by 2? Sinceit says 2NaOH and not NaOH.
The mole ratio will affect only the number of moles ya 😊
is this going to be similar to the may/june paper 2021?
I hope so for tommorow
@Fahed Ala'a Zreiqat I found it quite easy
just some questions I got confused

@Fahed Ala'a Zreiqat yeah there were no functions, inequalities, those easy stuffs did not come

Quick question, question 4 (g), wouldn’t zinc also react with water to form zinc hydroxide? Why does crystallization work in that case?
