Chlorine is an element but it's found in a diatomic state naturally in the environment. You could state it is as a molecule more than a compound since compounds definition is two or more atoms of separate elements. Hope it helped lol

Orange is also acceptable, if you check on previous past years too. Indeed, orange is preferable as to differentiate it from iodine liquid :)

15:25 Q5 a part, i wrote wash precipitate with distilled water and leave it in a warm place to dry. so is it considered correct? and in Q6 a part (III) can i write slag or i have to write molten slag ?

Sir, are you Sure that for question 7 part di) that we have to put from orange to colourless? Because in the marking scheme it says brown to colorless

Hey, both are acceptable, but orange is always a better answer to give for colour of bromine liquid.
