- This beautiful song was written by the Spanish composer Sebastian Yradier after a visit to Cuba around 1860. The arrangement I'm playing was transcribed by Francisco Tárrega, the guitar master of the Romantic period who laid the foundations for the XX century classical guitar.
The tone and colour of sounds from your guitar are a reflection of your skills and your love of guitar. I am very impressed. Thanks for sharing this beautiful rendition.
That's very nice of you to post that. Thank you
Beautiful! Sooooo Beautiful!!
Very nice 👍🏼 well played. Thank you 😊
Thank you Chip. All the best to you.
A truly beautiful rendition; on a beautifully toned guitar. Your timing and expression are masterful, and your love of guitar and music really shines through! I love love La Paloma and have listened to many renditions, but this is really joyful. (l have read that LA Paloma is the most produced song of all time!)
Thank you, please keep posting.
Thank you Jeff, Your lovely comments made my day. I did that 9 years ago and I'm glad you got the nuances I tried to put in that rendition. There's no need to tell you how many times I recorded it until I was satisfied (kind of!). I don't play much solo guitar any more. I have spent too many hours practicing alone in a room. Now I prefer to do duets online.
Master.. as seasoned as your age.. this is what I call experience..
Thank you for your comment. Experience? Well, .. yes I think you could say that.
Love la paloma!!
Wspaniałe wykonanie tej cudownej melodii 🌹

Claro que si. El mejor lugar para aprender a tocar la guitarra es Classical Guitar Corner Academy. Echale una mirada. Es de lejos lo mejor que hay

SEGOVIA!! You give me WAY too much credit Sir. I'm just an amateur player in love with classical guitar music. I you think my rendition is good, you need to listen to Pepe Romero playing this piece. Thank you for the very flattering comments, though.
